    Simple question?
Can we expect a similar improvement in GT4's graphics as we did in GT2 over GT1?
Or is this as good as the PS2 gets?

I cant imagine it looking any better unless it turns into a VR game

I doubt very much that this is as good as it gets.

But Kaz said that for the next Gran Turismo, he wants to focus on gameplay, not graphics.

I doubt they can be better without sacrificing gameplay.

"Good graphics, do not a great game make.". Please don't advertise yourself as one of those simple-minded consumers that any old developer thinks they can sell gumph to if they make the graphics good at the cost of the gameplay.

Since they already have the models, why not focus on designing a true in-car view... one where you actually see the steering wheel, gauges, and side mirrors. That would be very realistic, and would really make it feel like you were driving different cars. ;)
