How I STILL make over 2,300,000 credits/hour through custom races... using a Kangoo! (1.63)

This is not the most accessible grind in this game. It requires an investment of over 3.5 million credits, collector level 50, and all gold times in the Mount Panorama circuit experience. It also requires you to use an exploit, so this grind is completely dependent on PD not patching it.

Hi, I'm Skyrocket44, the guy who discovered the PP smuggling bug after @opelman did.


YOU WILL NEED:​

• Renault Kangoo 1.4'01​
• Red Bull X2014 Standard​
• Collector Level 50​
• All Gold in the Mount Panorama Circuit Experience​

1) Go to the Tuning Shop with your Kangoo and max it out (282BHP/885kg). You should also buy the following parts:

• Comfort Hard Tyres
• Power Restrictor
• Ballast
• Nitrous
• Steering Angle Adapter

2) Go to GT Auto and install the widebody kit, 17-inch wheels with the wide rim width, the front splitter, Type B rear aero and rear wing, and the roll cage.

3) Go to your Kangoo's settings and apply this tune to it:

To set up the transmission, set the final drive to 5.0 first, set the 1st gear to its lowest possible ratio, then lower the final drive to 2.467. Then adjust every gear EXCEPT FIRST.

4) Open a new sheet and copy these settings and parts EXACTLY to get the Kangoo below 200PP. This is your smuggling tune

5) Switch to the X2014, get the Fully Customisable Racing Transmission, and change the ratios to this:

"But why the X2014? Can't I just use the Tomahawk?"
You can as it's less of an investment, but with the gear ratios required to pass them all on lap 1, they are much slower in the turns than the X2014, so you will get stuck behind them in the mountain section. Also, custom race payouts are maxed out when your car is below 200PP and your rivals above 1000.

6) Switch to the Kangoo with the 195PP tune, go to Mount Panorama, and make a custom race.

• 6 Laps (335,100 credits)
• Starting Grid 20
• Rolling Start
• 30M Start Interval
• Boost Off
• Slipstream Strong
• No Mechanical Damage
• Tyre wear and Fuel Consumption Off
• Nitrous Usage Time Multiplier 10.0x
• Professional Difficulty
• Fill the rest of the grid with your X2014's.

7) Before you begin, go to your car settings and switch from the 195PP tune to the maxed tune. THE PAYOUT DOES NOT CHANGE, EVEN WHEN YOU RETRY THE RACE. THIS IS WHAT MAKES THIS GRIND WORK.

8) Begin the race. Never pass the Red Bulls in the middle of slow corners ere you touch them and lose the CRB. You will also lose it if you run all four wheels over the white lines, so don't do that. You can run into the walls and maintain the CRB, but why would you do that?

9) PROFIT!

At 2.34 million credits/hour including a 24-second restart, this is the fastest known grind in GT7. It's the equivalent of doing Tokyo WTC600 in 20:43 (the fastest time with a swapped Honda Beat is 24:24), Sardegna WTC800 in 18:14 (the WORLD RECORD is 22:38.2 with a Nissan R92CP) and the one-hour Spa WTC800 in 38:01 (possible, if you know the shortcut).

You have 2 months. They will patch this, mark my words.

P.S: Your trick does work with the Daytona/Fiat combination also. Which now renders 430k for a race of 26 laps. So still over 1 million per hour

Yes. It's included in the 430k. Just make a second sheet that removes all the upgrades on the fiat and it works the same as described above

Is about 400k/hr without CRB. At that pace, just from race winnings alone it would take 50 hours of racing to make enough credits to buy a $20M car.

If a purist would still consider a race that high up the list “grinding”, a 200k/hr race would take you 100 hours of racing to earn your one $20M car.

Basically: Long live questionable credit grinds, more power to people who use them, and death to the current GT7 economy.

Heres a Daytona afk setup with a sub 300pp honda beat swap

Race settings and tomahawk setup is the same

The afk setup is also the same with rubber bands over both accelerator and nos along with motion steering enabled to steer slightly to the left

The honda beat should have stock wheels, bumper and no spoiler/rollcage (widebody kit is optional but not needed)

It laps Daytona around 1:04 per lap and finishes the 27 lap race in under 29 minutes for 575k payout with CRB

so in one hour it pays out 1.15 million (pd really nerfed the payout for ovals)

and this tune can work as a fallback incase the new "trick" gets patched out in the next update

Until then I'll just go back to the drawing board to figure out how to integrate this new "trick"

With ovals being nerfed, I'd assume that'd be High Speed Ring? It's also maybe worth checking if they don't class Lake Louise Tri-Oval as an oval since it's not on tarmac, and replacing the Tomahawks with a high PP snow-eligible car like an Escudo.

5 laps, I can get sub-2:08 lap times with the car.

Ideally you'd want to optimise this for the circuit that has the highest average speed (so you do races of the same distance, and thus payout, quicker). HSR only gets you 1.3 million an hour, it's too simple of a track.

I did a quick 5 lap test around Lake Louise Tri-Oval Reverse using the Jeep and Escudos with the high-rpm turbo and 600/400 downforce. The payout is 120,900 in 5 minutes, so a clean race can net me 2 million an hour. I also had 8 laps of N2O, so Lake Louise may be worth looking into.

I am a frequent player, so I have put in the hours to earn the money for all the cars through the big 4 grinds (mostly Spa and Le Mans). But I have taken care not to burn out by a combination of moderate patience and concious variation.
The combination of inadequate single player/career mode and bad game economy is a major flaw in GT7.

I followed exactly what you posted but my race only shows 269k? Honda Beat following your exact setup and race following exact setup. I have a circuit experience completed too and I am selecting the stock tune before entering race.
Update: I took the engine mods that you cant remove like bore up and its updated to your values now

I tried this. It definitely works. But the Jeep can be an absolute handful to drive.

So I used a spare Daihatsu Copen, fully upgraded it without any fine tuning, and it nets the same results and pay while handling SO MUCH BETTER and even having a faster top speed.

On setting sheet B, the only difference is that the power restrictor is at 72 - if I had it at 70 I would get an exclamation mark. PP on that sheet comes to 148.67 for me.

I've made some improvements to the previous setup I posted earlier in this thread

So if you're using the same beat as before, there are some changes to be made

If you have a widebody, you'll have to buy a new beat (luckily there's still one at the Used Car Dealership)

Also you may need to reset engine upgrades along with body upgrades to remove some modifications

Now onto the new setup

You'll need a honda beat with the K20 civic engine swap for this along with a Dodge SRT tomahawk X (the one with the most pp)

The race settings and tomahawk settings are the same as the one from the abarth afk grind setup

The afk setup is also the same with rubber bands over both accelerator and nos along with motion steering enabled to steer slightly to the right

My honda beat in the pics don't have any visual mods, but you may add them if you want (if you go over 300pp you can add ballast all the way to the front of the car with -50 ballast positioning)

It laps Daytona at under 53 seconds per lap for 23 laps and completes the race at around 20 mins paying out 489,900 credits with CRB

so in 1 hour (+ a minute) it can do the race 3 times so it'll pay out roughly 1.46 million credits an hour (almost as much as the big 4 but it's afk)

If the settings swap exploit was implemented to this setup it's possible to go over 1.5m per hour

I'm using your setup now but since it seems that payouts are on a fixed ratio now (14.2k per lap), I'm going to start trying rubberbanding with 200 laps instead of 20ish.

Update: I'm about 3 secs slower per lap after nitrous runs out. Since that's the case, 25 seems to be the sweet spot.

I think the Demio is faster than the Jeep. I have yet to find anything else that beats that.
The Demio goes so far below 200pp when max detuned that you can fit in an absolute ton of engine upgrades and weight reductions, so it's a proper little pocket rocket when it's at its 600pp spec.

My laps are averaging about 2.18-ish, though I’m not the best driver and I’m sure it could be improved with some fine tuning, but I’m not well versed on that.

I see everybody using the Tomahawk X due to the higher PP, but instead of spending the money on it why couldn’t I just use the Red Bull cars? That immediately saves me 1 million credits at the cost of slightly lower payouts.
