I use a Mach 3 Turbocharged. I want to get an electric, but alas, I am poor.

Same here. Best razor I've ever used, except for one minor flaw, it's hard to navigate in tight spots(i.e. under the nose). I wonder if this new "Fusion" is gonna kick butt, or is it just another gimmick......

It's called champion? Also, do you think Turbo's really better than the regular Mach 3? Last thing, how do you like my vintage Braun? :p I don't know how many years I've used it for.
 
I use a Gilette 2 blade... I never liked the 3 or 4 blade varieties... I can't stand most electrics...

I prefer the mach3 over the electrics I've owened. you arent missin' anything. :)

Yeah, I think the red one is called mach3 champion or something. The only difference in the mach 3 and the mach3 Turbo is that the turbo has the lube strip. I think it makes a difference as far as comfortability is concerned, but the shave is more or less the same.

It's not complicated. Stroke up or down (whichever you like), wash face with hot or cold water (whichever you like) to ease the burning and redness, then wait for the bleeding to stop. Repeat. Not complicated at all, really.

I wet the face with hot water, shave up in most spots, then rinse. From what I've read, you're supposed to rinse with cold water(I never do though).

P.S. I shave really close, but I can't even remember the last time I cut myself shaving. Mach 3's so wonderful. :O
 
Yeah, dunno why people are *****ing about cutting themselves :p ... go mach 3 ;)

Mach 3 Turbo Champion with ordinary black Mach 3 blades. No difference between Turbo and normal anywhere else but price.

Yep, it does, but I haven't seen any difference in the feel between Turbo and normal. :)
 
Just a plain old Mach3 for me. I don't need no fancy vibrating razors!
 
I used electric razor for awhile, didnt like it so I went back to my Mach 3. Best razor ive used so far IMHO.

That's what the back blade is for, but it would be pretty funny if they overlooked that.
 
Gilette used make Loose blade razors , you get five in a dispenser affair , which have several paper uses sharp !don't now , censorship
 
Mach 3 Turbo - the red one without the crappy battery. I've got an electric Braun as well but its not being used for years - Being in the creative industry means i need not shave everyday, which is fine by me! If i was to use my electric razor, i'd have to use it everyday otherwise it starts to feel like its 'plucking' out my hairs instead of cutting them. Life's to short to shave everyday unless your job requires you to.

I also have a set of Wahl clippers from when i used to have a shaved head - a bit heavy duty to use on your face though!

What does everyone use for shaving cream/gel? - i go for 'King of Shaves' menthol gel.
 
I have the Quattro and like it. I got the free one in the mail and then just kept buying refills.

I hope I get this new one free in the mail too. I got teh Mach 3 for free in college when I moved into the dorm.


I have to say the best shave I have ever had was in teh barbar shop with the straight razor and hot foam. Scary as can be though. I kept wondering what would happen if I sneezed. :nervous:

For shaving gel I use the Neutrogena For Men stuff. When paired up with the face wash (26 and still fighting acne!) and the after shave lotion it works wonders. It is supposed to slow hair growth and make the hairs thinner. I think it actually worked over time because I only shave once every three days now without anyone noticing and my stubble doesn't scratch my wife anymore.
