I'm very picky when it comes to stocking my Garage; why fill it up when most of the cars are all there anyway to be acquired whenever needed?
I did this in GT5, too, only buying a Premium when I actually wanted to use it - otherwise the Dealer could house it for me. In the case of Standards in GT5 I was compelled to buy them because of 'Justin's' shenanigans.
I don't have this problem in GT6. In fact, in GT6 the whole 'collection shtick', has a completely different flavour to it.
At this point, having acquired most of the cars I want (except for a few 14 - 20 M Credit cars) I can't see myself really exceeding 500 cars.
In fact I've bought, used, and sold cars just because I want to keep my Garage clutter-free.

Oh yes, also one of the Deltawings is still in the showroom and I will leave it there ...
About 80, that includes the 15 I was given at the start. Just have a few of the S class races to do. Ive been hoarding my winnings and only spending when I have to. Got most of my favourite cars already and they're tuned to how I like them. Dont see the need for hundreds of cars when I only really use about half of my garage at the moment.
120, all the cars i looked forward to i have. So now to start working my way through the dealers buying every car it takes a long time as it did in gt5 but i managed it.
I have around 200 cars, I took full advantage of the money glitch while it was available.
Bought all the Le Mans type cars, Base model cars, 1million plus cars! and all the cars that I like.
I've bought everything I wanted, around 350 cars. All premiums in the game, except for Nascars, base models, chrome lines, stealths and no-interior premiums (Nissan GTR Proto, Toyota FT-86II Concept). No standards.
Just over 300. Got pretty much all I might be interested in plus all I need for online racing including pretty much all base models. Haven't touched most of them yet, though.
