How many cars will have cockpits?

In the latest issue of play they have a gt5 hands on feature and interview with kaz, it says in the feature "over 100 car interiors have been meticulously recreated".

I hope that is a joke. It is not right to say we have 1000 cars if only 10% modelled properly.

I'm sure he means that all cars will have proper cockpits, down to the last brush. But other cockpits will be phenomenally better because they love the car so much? Again, all cars will have cockpits, the others will have extreme detail, none seen on any other game. That is my logic served by the given information.

Or- Kaz and his team have included/scratched ideas in the cockpits, adding or removing things. 170 cars could be modeled to Kaz's liking, the exterior and interior, showing off this work. This to me makes the most sense possible- 170 cars modeled to Kaz's liking.

No, these 100+ "interiors" refers to the insides of the car - all the stuff you see when the doors open, the hood flies off and the bumpers get ripped off etc etc.

All of the 1000 cars that actually have cockpits in real life (meaning all but some concept cars) will have modeled cockpits. And they will all be of the same quality.
