I had a Civic. Not the best car out there. I'm kinda glad it got its ass smashed. Now I enjoy a better car.

Cars don't get you tickets, you get you tickets.

I got an IS 300 and I've never had a ticket in it!

Plus, that was a "sneaky" cop! (Incognito, Stealth, undercover)

What self respecting pig would ever drive a Pontiac? :D

Anyone would get pulled by that guy! Now that I know what to look for, it wont happen by that guy again.

and plus i'm 15 and about to get my permit i dont want something to fast....atleast for now

Bricks and body panel mods can cure that.

Get a Used Protege, either the first gen or the current one('98-now)cause the inbetween one sucked.

I myself drive a '88 323, never ever even lost control, got into a bad situation, anything. Get better at driving and you wont get tickets(cause you will learn where cops are, and how to avoid them).

BTW, I'm going to get a fairly fast car(0-60 an estimated 7 secs), a MX-3 GS with the MX-6 GS 2.5 V6(which my dad has sitting in the garage ready to go into a MX-3), and I will probably have to really watch out for tickets...

Exactly...I've been pulled over in my 84 Skyhawk (slow as death) and my 91 Tercel (not quite as slow), but never in my Integra (oddly enough). Which shares many components with Civics.

A Civic is a nice starter car because they are generally reliable. the trouble is that they hold their value very well so you'd have to buy a really old one to get it cheap. You might consider other econoboxes which are every bit as good and a helluva lot cheaper. Toyota's Corolla and Nissan's Sentra spring to mind. HTH.

old corolla's are nice. If you are into more roading then draging.

no, thats the funny thing.. i only got one for those 2 cars... i couldnt believe it when i came in this thread and i was perfectly set up for both of those cars.
