Punk, I went to some dragstrip last night with a friend of mine and his father. It was ****ing awesome!

Some badass cars there. Not a single import, just huge motor'ed domestics. Biggest motor was a 714ci, I believe. COuple cars were running 3500+hp. Fastest pass was a 6.310 @ 207.XXmph. Weirdest time was a 6.66 @ 201.18

Some old turbo Chevelles, turbo'd 'stangs, 2 twin turbo'd 4th .gen f-bodies...


It was, by far, the coolest ****ing experience of my life...

I've never been to a strip where cars were running nitro fuel, alcohol, or even nitrous. The smell was awesome! Smelled like ****ing candy...

ahhh, lucky you. i went all day yesterday, aside from the rice and the "Quick 8" (think 6 DSM, 1 Integra and that 4 door Civic), not much to be seen...

i wanted to give myself an idea of the Integra, so i went there with it... the radio didn't work, so the drive was fairly boring.

as we arrived there, it was clear all we would see were 15 sec and higher timeslips from most cars there.

my best time, with that all bent up POS of mine, was 16.5@88 mph! i knew 250$ wouldn't get me something fast, but i wasn't expecting that! turns out it's only running on 3 cylinders...

so most of my free time will be spend changing the engine in that thing!

Nah. I stood on the tower that was right next to the left lane starting point, towards the end of the night, and when those fuggers purged their nitrous lines a lot it would burn my eyes a little, but other than that...it rocked.

i actually like skylines, but i heard a rumour or something about you not being able to have one in canada.... i dont know if its emissons or what that doesnt pass.... does anyone know what im talking about?
