They had similar signs in Oklahoma City. We all know how that eventually turned out. Unfortunately in this case it will most likely be Muslim Terrorists. (Taliban (sp?) actually, they are muslim fundamentalists, far different from anyone that we might normally run into.)
Here on the island, there are reports of arguements in 7-11's and gas stations all over where people are just laying blankets of blame on anyone of arabic origin.
You are talking about millions of Muslims here in the US, many in New York. How do you think they feel when they see "kill all muslim terrorists." Sure you can make the arguement that they are only talking about terrorists, but it is a very fine line to tread. People tend to blur lines very easily, and muslim terrorists can easily turn into just muslims. When Mob mentality takes over, sober thoughts take a backseat.
This is what that kind of defensive behavior is gaurding against.

THis is a Christain nation, and christain and Muslims aren't exactly on the best of terms(a.k.a. yesterday). Although Muslums probably out number Christains:( WE'RE RIGHT!(referring to Christianity)

Nations have been fighting this exact war for thousands of years.......

Should any one belief systems reign dominate over another (I'm right and your wrong). Conform to my religion or parish!!!

There is a common truth that is consistant with mostly all religions. One cannot argure with spirituallity. How dare we kill in the name of christianity. It goes against all that it stands for.

Roman Catholic. Ever hear of the Crusades?
Muslim's aren't taught to kill other religeons to insure passage to heaven. Taliban fundamentalists are a different story though. We have a few of those in every religeo though. They can call this a Holy war until they turn blue in the face, but what it all boils down to is geography. Everyone wants certain pieces of land, and blind, ignorant religeous faith is the easiest way to get people to follow you blindly. Everyone in history has done it.
Think about this. You are a soldier in ancient (or not so ancient) times, and the times are tough. People all around you are getting killed in droves, you are outnumbered five to one. You haven't eaten in days, water is running low too. You look around, and noone is there to see you. You think to yourself, your leader might not ever find out that you deserted if you sneak out quietly. Even if you are caught, you could try and come up with an excuse. What's the worst that can happen? Add religeon and you face the possibility of eternal damnation. You've been brought up to know that nothing that you can imagine in life would compare to the suffering you are to face if you do not fight to the last breath, sacrificing yourself so that others will succeed. You aren't sure if that's true, yet the possibility exists. Before you know it, you are launching yourself headlong into a losing battle.

I'm not in that sutiation thought, and thats the point. I live in a nation that was based on christianity, and I thank God for it. I have to go to bed now:D
