i have to pay for my own car/insurance/gas.....which means i have no car. i work 40hrs/wk in a hot/humid environment...and for what....so i can pay my bills (computer, college crap, etc.)

well, im getting a car next year. im thinkin used focus/cavalier.

i really want an 89 mustang gt 5.0.....but i need a car for the winter. dont know how drivable that would be in snow. (or if id want it in snow, with salt and all)

Well, before that I had that white '97 6speed Z28 my stepmom gave me(it was hers). I only kept it for two weeks, just long enough for me to completely get the hang of driving a manual.

Then, remember a few months ago I bought my friend's '99-00 Z28 from that police auction for $9,000? He got his car taken from him after he got pulled over with a bunch of...contraband in the car. I bought it, and kept it long enough for his dad to buy it back off of me.



I also miss your Integra.

If it's the frame, all perfect...not bent or anything...my boss would buy it(if it weren't in Canada, of course). He used to build/race cars. His fastest car ran a 7.12 if I remember correctly. Me and his son are trying to find something to build into a drag car. Doesn't matter if it's FWD or RWD.


We're trying to find a mildly wrecked '00-02 Camaro SS or TransAm/Formula that we can buy, fix the damage, and get a custom fiberglass body made for. We don't have a motor in mind, but we're leaning towards a huge twin turbo'ed V8. There's a few TT'd F-bodies down at the local track. Fastest running low 6's. We don't want a sixer though, not yet. We're thingking 8's'll be good for starters. Now...all we need is for my Dad to donate $25-40,000 to the "Josh & Robert need to build a race-car" fund.

that's what we (me and the guys i work with) did with the infamous Crapback... we found a wrecked Civic, and worked on it until it ran 12s...

hell, i'm sure if we had more knowledge back then, the thing would have hit 10s...
