I'll pre-apologise for my typing and for any offence I may cause - I've been drinking vodka-based cocktails, and I'm probably not in the best state.

I've already savaged a guy in the F1 forum (oops). Well, he was called "Made in Holland" and he was dissing Tom Walkinshaw, so it had to be said...

Anyway, how's everyone doing tonight?

I know. And on a school night too! Oh well. Work hungover tomorrow. No meetings, which is good.

It would have been rude to refuse the invite!

Well, see I have to get the bus into work, and she takes the car. Therefore if she got drunk tonight, she wouldn't be able to drive tomorrow, and that would be a bad thing.

Whereas, I can go for it big-style, and it doesn't matter, it just means I get to be hungover on a bus, which (of course) is a bad thing, but it's not as bad as being still over the limit, or trying to drive with a blinder!

Yep true, well I've got a works do on Saturday so I'll also be getting very, very drunk.

hehe.. i know a bit of php, not too much, but i know enough to be able to run a successful website.

I've been working on it because I wanted to use a database to dynamically index my site. Now I'm writing a complete engine for a Fantasy Formula 1 competition, which should be going live in about a week. I've also written a basic forum site, which takes VBulletin as inspiration in looks, but is in fact completely written from scratch. So I'm getting there in using PHP to generate active content from a MySQL database.

What's your project?

Wow, sounds nice!

I am just working on a basic system using MySQL databasing to manage a site for my GT2 series.. you can see the old version of the site in my link in my sig.. im working on making it easier to read in info. All the links on the right arent embedded in MySQL, they are just in their own html files... i am also thinking about making a protected directory on my new domain for the series admins to log in and be able to modify player stats.. i havent started on that yet though.

I dont yet have enough skill to write my own forum, so i am thinking about using vBulletin.. after all, it seems like a rockin board.
