i hate telemarketers. especially since ive been getting the same call, from the same woman, about a credit card. ive told here 3 different times that i wasnt interested, and not to call back. so then 2 days later, a different lady calls with the same sales pitch.

but im not against phones....im against telemarketers using my phone to bother me at dinner, when i didnt give them permission to call me. same with spam email, i didnt give them permission to email me, and use up my hotmail account storage space.

and since a lot of spam comes as large .jpg files, or the like (to get around spam filters) they take up a lot of space.

so i would join, but i dont hate phones, which seems to be the general consensus of your members.

oh yah, people driving with cell phones have to go. if u drive with your cell phone, a police officer should just pull you over, smash u in the face with his flashlight, and drive off. now thats "serve and protect"!

and my family does own a cell phone, btw. but we dont talk while driving.

on another note, i saw a guy reading a newspaper (which was spread across the steering wheel, his hands beneath it) while driving. nice, huh?
