TADS stands for something like Text Advanced Development System or something like that...
Have you ever played the original DOOM? Well, on FOOM(using TADS)instead of viewing a screen of what you're doing and where you're going, it shows text. It TELLS & describes to you in words where you are, and what you're surroundings look like, and what you're doing. You have to tell the game commands using TEXT, and it's extremely difficult unless you understand a lot of the TADS stuff...
