your playstation is red? I wanted the box... My playstation is just balck with the blue "PS2" written on the side...

i think i would buy the white or silver one... not now, my black will do just fine, can't shell out 300.00 everytime the color changes... :lol:
 
i thought about painting the pastic, I could do a good job if I wanted... but... then again, there is that 1% chance of messing it up... Thats to much of a chance...

Well moine is black too I just don't want me red case to GT3 and Red box of my PS2.

wow i just thought of an idea. You know how you can change the case on a cell phone. That would be cool if you can just purchase just the case for the ps2. :D

Sony announces European Automobile Color Collection for PS2.

To commemorate the sale of 20 million PlayStation2 consoles, Sony has announced that it will be releasing a limited number of PS2s in five new colours - known as the European Automobile Color Collection. Go figure that. Numbers of the Snow White, Super Red, Light Yellow, Astral Blue, and Metallic Silver PS2 consoles will be limited to just 2000 each - that's 666 units per colour for Japan, US and Europe respectively.

Release dates and details of how to acquire one of these highly desirable consoles haven't been announced for Europe and the US yet but in Japan they'll be available exclusively through the official Japanese PlayStation website as of December 21st, with orders being accepted from midday on November 8th. The coloured PS2 consoles come bundled with a matching controller and a matching stand and, in Japan at least, 66 consoles of each colour are being used to make up collector sets consisting of all five colours.

i dont know.. I would still like to have one or all 3 of the metallic special edition writen on them ps2's










Sony Computer Entertainment Switzerland is about to sell its 100,000th PlayStation 2. What sounds like a small number is a new record for a country with only 7 million people. To celebrate the achievement, SCE Switzerland will auction three special PlayStation 2 consoles for charity. The auction is being held at Ricardo and will last until tomorrow. For the auction, console 99,999 is silver, 100,000 is gold, and 100,001 is bronze. The current prices of the consoles are around $1,000 each and are expected to rise dramatically over the next several hours. The money resulting from the auction will be given to an unspecified charity organization.

heck ya, thats a fantasic idea!!! OMG, they could so make tons of money, cause I would buy a 30.00 silver case...

Yeah it would be a great idea, except for the fact of some idiots breaking their PS2 while trying to pull the case off!!!!!:lol:

I meant the metallic ones from Switzerland, sorry to confuse people.

The ones I posted are just going at the normal price, or so I've heard.
