how much better does the wheel make the game?

i use the logitech wheel... the best one for gt3.  personally, i think it adds a whole new learning curve to the game.  i didnt get the wheel for about a week after i got the game.  it seemed like all of my progress had just gone down the drain... but for good reason.  the wheel is awesome and the force feedback is amazing. if it isnt realistic, its still really cool
 
i liked the wheel but only for when im playing around in the game not tring to win anything because of how much harder it is than the regular controler like when you go in the grass you cant control at all!
 
it may be harder but its more fun by a considerable margin.  it takes a lot more learning.  you can learn to not spin out on grass if you ease off it and stuff.
 
yes that true i did think is was more enjoyable and fun than the controller but when it come to how much skill you got its gona come from the controller not the streering wheel and also when ever you go back to use the controller after using the steering wheel its like you gota learn the controlling on the controller back now. If your patient i guess you could get the hold of it.
 
I had been waiting for GT3 to come out in the Uk since i got my PS2. I rented the game to day it got released as I dodn't have enough to buy it and was very impressed by the control through the control pad. It wasn't until about 10 days later that i had a go with the wheel that i realized what i was missing!! It adds a whole new dimension to the game and it feels a hell of a lot more natural to drive with the wheel!!
I don't think i could ever go back to the Dualshock now and the extra few hours it took to adjust pale in comparision to the joy it will bring in the game!!
