I want my old life back.

I never used to be a gamer. Games coouldn't suck me in that easily. I love cars, and Gran Turismo 4 is taking away all of my time! I dont do my homework, I dont work on my work, I dont work on my motorcycle.

Lately all I do is play Gran Turismo 4. Its sickening. i love it, and at the end of the day, I feel so fried out from all of the slouching and television. How much hours do you guys put in each day? Are you guys also addicts?

Lets hear your thoughts on the game, and how it takes away all of your damn time.
 
I can go a few days without playing at all (reallife ... *sighs*), but then spend 2-4 hours playing at other times quite easily.
 
2-3 hours on weekdays after work. 8-10 hours on weekends. Only time I stop is when the wife decides I have to do something more productive... Starting to feel guilty but that hasn't stopped me when I did the same with GT3.
 
Yo, 2 hours max here.
I love the game, but I have the attn. span of a fly.

Plus, I spend way more time writing about the damned thing (and how much I love "playing" it) than I do playing it. (Oh yeah - I'm addicted to the 'Net so that doesn't help my game any. :indiff: :lol::lol: )

GT4 = ok. But I'd much rather be on here talking about it. I'm weird.
 
Sunday-Wednesday I play about 2 hours/day. Thursday-Saturday I don't play at all, or maybe .5-1 hour.

My girlfriend and I have conflicting schedules so we only get to hang out Thursday-Saturday. Don't get me wrong GT4 is fun and all, but girlfriend time is SO MUCH BETTER!
 
I dont play that often which is evident that im only at 36% done after owning it since release, but if i do play i can play for ages. 12 at a time :)
 
hmm id say about 3 to 6 hours a day ( im working on getting to 100% compete for a second time but this time with no losses a perfect 100% win ratio havent got far on the second run yet about 17% i think)
 
I really think this kind of game its addictive. Ive had the game for about a week now, and ive been playing for 2-5 hours a day. Im a collage student, but lately i havent had much to to do, so, ive been playing a lot. When i have some really importatn stuff to do i know how to behave my self. If i need to i dont even see tv for a hole day, not mentioning playing GT4. So i do believe that the time you play the game depends on the kind of activities you have in your day, what do you do, and what do you really want to do with your day. Just think for a moment, what do people of our age did in their time 50 or 60 years ago......they dont even had a TV.
 
umm, topic title should be "How many hours per day do you play?"
 
Most of the time it is less than an hour, which is what i chose. Most of the time I'll get on, take a few pics, and maybe do a couple of races out of a set. The reason for this is to remind myself for next time which races I can successfully complete, that way I can finish them up when I have the time. I really wish I had more time for GT4, but with the bass guitar, mods for my truck going on, school, work, and my addictive R/C hobby, I just don't have that much time.
