How often do you play GT?

I used to play nearly every day, but I switched to iRacing and I don't have much time for gaming anyway, so I mainly play GT once or twice a week, for my own series.

I used to play it everyday until the need for arcade racers has gone into me.....NFS15 will probably fill that hole.

I don't play it that often now, which is a shame because I've always loved the GT games but GT6 has lost a lot of it's appeal to me just lately. I have gone to other games that aren't even racing games, such as Final Fantasy X because it's become tedious and boring to aimlessly drive by yourself. I used to play every day and even ran a casual racing group, CCR, for like-minded people but it's just so boring now. I have been waiting for the course maker since launch and realistically we won't see it until GT7 so the game has no re-playability for me anymore.

I competed in all of the GT Academy '15 rounds and on the final round my thoughts were "No wonder this game is losing popularity. The graphics are sharp-edged, the car handled awfully and the sounds were dreadful." And this is weird coming from someone who will defend GT6 and other GT games to the hilt.

I'm awaiting Gran Turismo 7 and what they can do with the PS4 capabilities. But for the time being I've lost all interest in Gran Turismo and I wish I hadn't.

I play GT quite often something about it just brings me back and it's one of few games my PS3 can play even though it's still super slow.

Gran Turismo is the only racing game I play, and up until two weeks ago, I played it every day. Unfortunately, when I try to update 1.19, the screen freezes. I have tried everything, but I still can't play GT.

Only copy of GT I have is GT3 but I rarely play it. If I had GT6 (or even GT5) I would play it every day.

Used to play daily, I don't play quite as much anymore. But whenever I do sit down to, there's a three hour update of some sort which makes me quit unintentionally.

Not that often, been the case for over a year now and similar situation for a lot of other racing games. GT7 can't come soon enough although I probably get bored of that quite quickly. Maybe time to get into real racing...

Is it bad I almost have 1100 driving hours?
Mine's like 80 hours, that is quite hardcore amount of hours.

That would mean you have driven an average of an hour for every single car in GT6!

Never thought of it that way! I was trying to figure out the average hours per day since I bought the game on 12/6/13, but I think it works out to be 45 minutes of driving per day. My math could be wrong though.

I can't play it right now as my PS3 suddenly decided it didn't want to read Blu-rays any more. Go figure. lol

I will be honest and that means I only play it when there's a new update because of Project Cars, Assetto Corsa and Driveclub. But I'm still very excited to see when GT7 announcement become real.

Used to play it every day but haven't been on my PS3 since PCars came out. Will get back into it with the next major update!

I don't play at all anymore. Retired about 2 weeks ago. Sold my rig, console, game....the whole 9 yards. I've got better things to do than sit around waiting for PD to get their head out of their ass. Currently getting things around for Xbox and Forza amongst other driving games. I won't even consider buying a PS4 until I am firmly convinced that PD has gotten their 🤬 together.

Like @GTP_CargoRatt, I too retired from GT - quite some time ago actually (LM55 is the last update I recall). Moved on to the freedom of the PC Master Race and have enjoyed driving everything from Formula 3 cars to Formula Truck (Yep its a thing :dopey::lol:), and currently find myself engaged with CART Extreme for GSCE, as well as the Formula V12 too (easily one of the hardest cars to drive in all of sim-racing)

However, I haven't got rid of the PS3 yet, Netflix & Youtube are still enjoyable 👍

I slowed down, as gaming in general took less of my time, as I had other hobbies to occupy my time. Also, most of my gaming now is on PS4, and Xbox One, and with my PS3 no longer working. I can't play GT anymore, unless I buy a new PS3. I'm hoping that I still have a save over the cloud, so I don't loose my progress.

I only check it out when there's an update. I played the GT Academy stuff every day for the final round but that was the most time I put into GT6 since I got the platinum for it.

Wanted to play GT6 this weekend gone.
Installed all the updates then the in-game updates failed repeatedly and had to delete everything.
Still didn't get to play. :/

I used to play quite regularly but now that I have a PS4 I tend to spend more time with that. It's a lot easier to pick up the DS4 and play some Driveclub than it is to set up my racing wheel for GT6, I'm lazy.

Don't play anymore.Because PS4.

This for me as well. However, I don't play on PS4 much either. Got fed up with DRIVECLUB, & need another wheel for Project CARS. Oh the joys of going next gen!
