25 and have played every single game since I saved up my paper-round money to buy the first one in 1998! GT2 and GT4 still hold very special places in my heart.

I'm 36 and have been playing since good old GT1 on the original playstation. Then had GT2 then missed the whole PS2 thing. Now got a PS3 and eagerly awaiting GT5 for Christmas!! Would love a wheel too at some stage.

I'm 38 and I was there at the start :). The first time I drove 50 yards on a straight on Gran turismo on the PS1, I knew it was the one, I'd found the game for me.
Don't really have the time for gaming anymore (wife, kids, mortgage etc) but I've bought a PS3 and GT5 to continue the ride. I'll still be playing GT, if it exists, until my senses let me down! I'll get 100% complete on GT5 like I have on all the others, though it might take a few years. I'm so experienced that I tend to go back to my garage and choose a SLOWER car so that I can get more challenge from the earlier levels. For instance, my new Civc Type R? FAR TOO FAST!
I have some biggish issues with GT5 so far, but all that is simply irrelevant when I get out there on the track in a 427 Cobra, G25 on force 10 - Awesome. Nothing matches it.

44 playing since GT1 which I picked up one afternoon as I had nothing to do and thought this will kill a few hours.........well 13 years later here we are again.

42 and been playing since release day of GT(1)..... even took a day off work waiting for GT5 to arrive..... total waste of a day as it turned up at 8:30pm..... 9:30pm by the time it was installed just in time for the wife to nag the crap out of me for wanting to play "Stupid ****ing games" LOL

LOL I took a week off so I could play it then they put the release date back.

Definitely worth the wait though 👍

HI first post

Im 31 been playing since gt1 played all gt,s except for the psp version can,t get on with the controller and knew it would just frustrate me struggle to find enough time to really play with the mrs and little one

Just wondering how old everyone is here and how long you have been playing GT. I am 27 and have been playing the GT series since 1998, and have owned all the GT games.

I was allot better back then, through GT1 -2 and 3, and probably could show a few of the best on this board a thing or too. I am not as good now, just getting back into my stride. I remeMber with my friends, beers and wacky backy, thumping music, and countless racers and endless lap time sessions lasting all night and till the next morning.

Do not get as much time now, maybe a few hours here and there.

Anyway, I hope there are some other old fogies like me?

18, and this is my first GT if you don't count prologue.
I love this game so much, the only reason I'm on here is because I just woke up and I'm waiting to use the shower.

i can spell that i'm 17 ( my birthday is 30 november ) ,and i very love gt series... i've bought all GT with normal cover and not with the Platinum Cover, and my brother and my father play GT games with me =D :
GT1
GT2
GT3
GT4
GT PSP

maybe for xmas i'll take a ps3 with gt5...

37, I have been playing since PS1 / Gran Turismo.

I missed out on Gran Turismo 2, but fully completed GT3 (my favourite in the series; for me it struck the right level of compromise between fun and difficulty level).

I`ll be 54 in 10 days, only started in late January with GT5P. Never touched the others before. Picked up my GT5 yesterday and needless to say I`m pretty tired today at work.

Should be a blast and perfect timing with my wife taking the kids to her sisters Friday night, Ya Hoo.👍

Im 44, been playing since the first one. GT2 was the best, loads of customizing for the cars, body kits were great. plus that thing where you could put your mates memory card in and it would compare times between you both and show who was fastest. great in the days before t'internet and leaderboards. dissapointed with the lack of customising in GT5. and the leveling up idea is rubbish. I think it's become too R.P.G and forgotten a little what it's all about. and dont get me started on Bspec! what a waste of time.

lmao. Ditto! It was such a pity, eh? Now I've got my copy but I won't be able to spend any dedicated time with it until Christmas/Boxing Day! I'm 28 and have been playing since the original GT. It was only around GT3 that I started to take it seriously though, working on the licenses and technique instead of trying to brute force everything.

29, played it when it was only available on bootleg through anime stores that imported, well got a burnt version from Japan (modded PS) so about 14 years.

Pdang

I started in 1998 with GT on PS1. Went on to GT2. Played GT3 at my friends house. Skipped GT4 +PSP. GT5 SE is running in my PS3 now.

35 years old.
