How Old are you and how long you been playing GT?

16, I've been playing Gran Turismo since I was about 6 or so, I remember playing on the PSX and always raging because I couldn't find my Memory card to save the game.
 
48 and loving it. Had a PS1 played GT1, now back with a PS3 bought just for GT5. Put the disc in it December and never taken it out, Got FIFA 11 still in the cellophane wrapper. :)
 
30 unfortunately. Played since gt1. I got gt5 and found this site "again".

When I put in my email to sign up for gtp it said I was already a member. FROM OVER TEN YEARS AGO! Lol

36, been playing GT5 since GT5P. I never owned a previous playstation. My first racing game experience was Atari's Pole Position Arcade, back in the early 80s. Then was the original Test Drive game on the Commodore Amiga. (best gaming computer period.) Then came Need for Speed series, the originals, not that underground barf stuff. Indy car racing for 486 computer, etc. Hard drivin' in the arcade.

I also learned to drive a real car, a Plymouth Horizon, a Pontiac Ventura (3 speed)'79, a BMW 320i '81, VW Jetta '85 (manual, clutch, stalled it 5 times, then never stalled a manual again) - at 8 years old. Got my motorcycle license too at 18, that was shortlived, for I got married at 20. Buyt at least I had the pleasure of beating every single macho car in a takeoff light, as I reved in 1st gear to 101 km/r in 3 and a half seconds. Never a single accident.
At 45, I plan to buy my first semi-exotic sports car, budget $70-100K. Porche, BMW, Mercedes , haven't decided yet.

33... Been playing GT since Gt 1, been playing video games since the early 80's on PC, with old school sierra adventure games like space quest, police quest, kings quest......

Played the first 3 GT games casually (Using mates ps / ps2's) - Got into it heavily when GT4 came out & bar a few Endurance Racers, have completed the last 2 titles
 
i'm 15 I've been playing GT since i was 5, i first played GT1 but i started getting more into the the series since gt4 was released, after i played that game i bought older versions of the GT series
 
I'm 18 and started play GT5 every since I was 6 with GT1, my dad was playing it already though. Finished all the games gold, even replayed them many times. Finishing trophies in GT5 at the moment, which I only started playing recently.
 
I'm 36 been playing since GT1 and I guess I'm the 2nd oldest on here. I will say GT1 is the game I learned to Love driving games with, before that I had very little patience learning the INS and outs of driving in games.

Yeah I played with a guy online that said he was 60, and he was real cool too. Wouldn't have known if he didnt say anything.
 
I'm turning 22 and didn't get my first game console until the PS3...I jumped into the GT series with the GT HD Concept 4 years ago.

Although I've played GT2/GT3 and friend's house a couple times prior...and eventually tried out GT4 but was turned off by the graphics after playing GT5P :dopey:
 
I'm 25 and started playing GT back in '09 when I got GT5P for Christmas. I began playing racing games before I was old enough attend school but the GT series is BY FAR the best ever! (*Ahem!* Now PD, just gimme Spa and Mt. Panorama, please!!:))
 
I'm 68 and have been playing GT since Prologue. I played NFS starting with Carbon. I no longer play NFS.

I've always loved sports cars... the first car I ever purchased was a 1966 MGB. I really enjoy diriving fast but now only do it in GT. My current ride is my avatar.
 
I'm 37 and I've been playing Gran Turismo since the beginning (Gran Turismo). And I still have it as well still play it.
 
i'm 19 now and i played .. ehm lemme think, lots of years approximately 9-10 or so :) remember when i owned my cousin with a Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray on The High Speed Ring, good ol' times haha :lol:

I`m 24 and the first GT game i played was GT1 when me and my brother had a ps1 (which seems like ages ago). We used to buy our favourite cars. We each had like 10-15 cars and i would always ALWAYS drive my Mitsubishi Eclipse, and i mean ONLY my Eclipse, if that car was real i know i would have married it. :P
 
Two of us here - a couple of old hoons!!. Share a house together. One 64 (65 very soon) and the other 66 (67 next month). Got hooked on these games after visiting VisionRacer shop in Nelson, New Zealand, a couple of years ago. Current set-up VisionRacer VR3, PS3 Slim, Logitech 5.1 Surround System, G27 wheel, DFGT wheel (back-up for when G27 claps out - frequently. Now on #5 or #6), and Samsung 40" LED TV. Games: NFS Shift, Shift 2, Dirt 2, GT5 Prologue and GT5. Both got to Level 50 and about 1200 stars in NFS Shift or is that GT5P - memory fails us!! Currently battling Expert Seasonal Challenge in GT5. Hard. Both have managed a Gold and a couple of Bronzes. Not as expert as we'd like to think! Just been reading about various peoples personal drives. Toyota Camry and Suzuki Grand Vitara here, plus a motor-home and an 18 footer with a 150 V6 Merc on the back.

31 and first played GT since '97. always been the solid franchise to me. The only game that I don't have in the series is GT5 Prologue.
