How to add people as friends?

Hello all,

New to all this online stuff and i'm currently trying to figure out how you add friends on GT5?

Could anyone let me know.

Hello. When you turn on your PS3, scroll as far to the right as you can. (Where you message.) Then scroll up to 'Add a friend'

From there you create a message for them. When you have sent it, scroll down and you can see your avatar and theirs. (But it will say 'Waiting for friend request' or something similar.) Then when they accept, you can see them and if the dot is green next to their name, they are online.

Once they are your PS3 buddy, then you can see them in GT5.

Also, if you are online in a GT5 lobby, you can highlight the name of anyone else in the room, and the 'send friend request' option will appear.
