SimonKYou can't.
Also you aren't exporting a replay as a video when you do so, you're just exporting a file which contains the data that the game needs to be able to replay it. GT5 doesn't support exporting replays as a video file in any format.
FamineAnd that isn't a video file as you were told earlier and then again by SimonK. It's a data file that requires GT5 to play a video.
We have a Feedback area which you can suggest improvements to. It has a surprisingly high hit rate with regards to what has been added to the game. However I believe what you request is unlikely to occur due to hardware shortcomings.
the InterceptorA replay file simply is a list of driving instructions if you will. The game saves the information of which car you used on which track, along with your exact inputs when you drove the laps. When you replay the file, the Playstation recreates the situation according to the replay file. So because a replay is just a recreation of the driving you did, you can only use a replay file within the game.
Not quite. Because such files are created and used only within the Playstation file system, the file extensions are unique to this system. What a computer, may it be a Mac or a Windows PC, makes of such a file solely depends on the individual operating system. A ".0" replay file is just machine code which can not be understood by anything but the Gran Turismo replay system. Is that why the extensions end in ".0" and has a icon like terminal (command prompt for pc)?

The fact that your Mac displays it with a terminal icon either is a coincidence, unknown filetypes always are handled like that or there actually is a ".0" file format for OSX. The system still won't recognize it as a GT5 replay file though.
Sorry, what exactly are you trying to do?Some how I can unachieve them.
the InterceptorSorry, what exactly are you trying to do?
How do I contact any developers of GT5 to ask them if they can change the exporting replays so it is in .Mp4 format so computers can read it?
McClarenDesign2. Comment on the message board of your GTLife profile. PD checks 'em occassionally.
Can I get them to reply to me on my wall by saying at the end?:
"please can you reply to this?"
FamineWhat?
First, what you ask is not possible. Second, you cannot make anyone reply to you. Most importantly of all though, for legal reasons (royalties), they will not comment on any suggestion you have for alterations to the game.
But it's still not possible. The file is a data file that only GT5 can read and reconstruct video from. There is no video or image information anywhere in the file and it is not compressed.
SimonKNo. Can I ask how old you are, out of interest?
