Well,
First off, I've moved the thread to the "Need for Speed" forum. 👍
(hope that's not a problem for you as it was not one for me)
Regarding your question though...
One thing to keep in mind is that the NFS tuning system may not be compatible with the GT4 system.
However, to elaborate on some of the problems that come up with tuning in general.
1) Try not to use extremes...
If you're wondering about your front springs being too low and your rear springs being too high, chances are both have to be adjusted towards each other slightly.
The same can be said of most of the other settings... Using an extreme setting can have effects on the suspension that would not be expected.
2) To find your problem area in the suspension, look back to the default settings.
Often (especially in GT4) cars have a natural balance or state of handling. Tuning away from that natural balance can put the car in a setting that may work for another car but not for the one being tuned.
So, try to avoid tuning to the extreme opposite of the car's default settings. 👍
Usually a small amount of change in the settings can have incredible results.
Finally, I just want to say hello and welcome to the gtp (since I don't know how much of a "new member" you are).
Have fun and I hope to see our members give you more specialized "NFS" advice and not more of the general advice I've provided.
Btw, I suggest you use more specific questions to get the answers you are looking for.
That's not to say "can you post a setup for this car" but instead, say, I'm looking for tuning concepts that work well with this car.
Good luck and have fun with the NFS forums here at the gtp.
