How is this done? I gather you can do it?

Depends on what controller you are using on the G25 its the Dpad on shifter box ... on a PS pad i believe its R1 L1 combo

I have a DS pad, not got the room for the G25 :grumpy:

I shall try the L1 and R1 buttons whilst using the in car view

Cheers.

Nope, its not the R1 and L1 buttons :grumpy:

I didnt think you can, can you?

You can if you have a wheel, can't with controller.

I noticed something interesting...in the demo, you can look left, right, rear, rear left and rear right. In prologue, you can only look left , right and rear. Wonder why.

Yeah I noticed the same, I was wondering about that.

they do this on purpose.. like patching it up to show how awesome the game becomes in time.. or they will put this in FULL gt5 release to show how much evolved from GT5P ..
just like the guy wont turn 900 degrees with his hands.. ( it use to have it long before the demo) i guess all those features wait for GT5 full release... well it does not spoil game play by a whole lot

I have just found these two camera modes - the 'Controls' translations just say what is active in that highlighted button/stick (not what the drop downs for that button contain)...anyway.

Both these can be used in replays as well.

RIGHT CAMERA VIEW (Digital): Highlight a suitable button and select the 3rd option from the bottom.

LEFT CAMERA VIEW (Digital): Same as above but select 4th option (notice the characters look the same though?)

DRIVER LOOK LEFT/RIGHT VIEW (Analogue): Highlight a suitable stick function and select the 2nd option from the bottom (notice it auto assigns the opposite throw of the stick) - only for 'Bumper' and 'Inside' views.

Well thats a bit more worked out!!

However looking left/right and steering at the same time gets a bit tricky, and it also affects your throttle/brake position
