How to obtain Penniless Trophy? [Answered in sticky thread called "GT5 Trophy Guide"]

I'm sorry to bother but if I have 9,789,123Cr how can I get the penniless thropy? If I try to spend all my money I would always have some left. :nervous:

Is there a way I can achieve this or do I really need to back up and start a new game; so I can buy 4 karts.

Go for the 20000000, and then buy a car.Voila.
 
I believe it is almost impossible to obtain with your current credits mate.Best to back up imo.Best of luck! 👍
Or you could do what Den said.Also great suggestion. :)
 
If I remember right the maximum credits you can have is 20 million. So max out your credits and then buy an XJ13 (or the like) which costs exactly that.

edit: or buy random stuff in the UCD till you get to a round number and then buy a load of new cars.

Alternatively, you can try spending credits in the UCD. For example, if you have 9,789,123 credits, look for a UCD vehicle that costs xxx,xx3, then xxx,x2x, xxx,1xx - this will eliminate the '123' in your credits. Continue until you have a round number (eg 7,000,000 Cr, then go to the premium car dealerships to buy some new cars like the Enzo =)

That's what I did, Got to a little over 10 million,got the multi million trophy, bought the FGT, got the other trophy for the expensive car, and then did a mad shopping spree in the UCD, and got the penniless trophy.

Yeah but what's the chances of getting the exact amount to 0 Cr. ? Better just saving for 20mil and getting a car that's needed for the collection :).

With 30 cars in the UCD, and a little basic math skills, is pretty easy to get to 0?

But then again, going for 20 mil and buy a fancy car, that's another option..

I wanted my trophy as fast as possible, and going for 20 mil isn't the fast way to go 👍

Ehh sorta, but still the chances are still not that fast. Just a matter of luck to get the right numbers in there that can match the equation.
 
i also had this problem.
you need to buy cars from the ucd to get your money on a full number.
and if you're still left with credits, go wash your car.
 
The way I got this is copy your save game over to a usb stick then delete the one on the PS3 system restart as a new game then buy a brand new mx5 from the dealership for 19000cr then install an ecu for 1000cr then quit the game when you have the trophy quit the game and copy your original save back to the PS3 and restart with all your credits back.
