The same way as you posted a new thread in this forum - by clicking the big, green "Post New Thread" button - only you do it in the GT Sport forum. How do I post a new thread on the gt sport forum?
No you don't.You have to have # of post before you can make a new thread in the forum.
It's called "Create Thread" in both the GT Sport forum and this, the Site Support forum. No, when I click post new thread on the gt sport forum, I come to a place where I can create a new thread which I have done 3 times now. but I cannot post it there, there is no 'Post new thread' button on that page!
Was this changed recently? No you don't.
I remember something like that too if my memory is still good. Was this changed recently?
I remember awhile back a mod saying something about new members needed X amount of posts before they can make a new thread, it had to do with reducing spam bots making threads. I couldn't find the post now, all I can find is a thread from 2010/11 talking about there needs to be min. post count to make a thread and new members first post must approved by a mod.

No, that's not supported by our current software platform. As you're browsing through there @SlipZtrEm , I remember that years ago, it was possible to see who was browsing any thread when we were browsing the concerned thread too. It was at the bottom of the page iirc.
No way to set this option in the new gtp software?
Well that is awkward. So I. Need to spend my time posting things I’m not particularly interested in before I can post the reason I joined in the first place. MarvelousYou have to have # of post before you can make a new thread in the forum.
Nope. This was not true at the time, still is not true, and has never been true. And one of the site admins pointed it out in direct response.Well that is awkward. So I. Just for future reference for anyone who might click on this thread:Ok then HOW DO I CREATE A NEW THREAD
You can list that in The Trading Post.just joined was wondering how to list a racing simulator can"t find where it says post?
thanks, r.j.
3 people in 7 years is hardly "A LOT".I once made some threads but as most people who come and visit this site the 'make thread' button is (too) difficult to find. I do not understand why this has been made soooooo hard. It is one of the core things people want to do on this site. Make threads and communicate with each other. Why make this so difficult then since A LOT of people keep on asking the same thing. When you come to the homepage why not make a big fat button no one can overlook or has to do a 10days quest to find it????
I'll refer you to post 19 of this very thread.Open the site, make a screenshot and simply show where you can find this button? That seems to hard for you guys. Instead you sent a manual people need to read for an hour or more ...
Again no straight forward answer. I put my thread on sportplanet because there you can find a green button and then uou guys with power say that it should not be posted over there but on this site etc etc etc. Why is it so hard for you guys to just help someone instead if giving him other assignments. A screenshot and some simple directions would be enough and again more simple would be if the button was just there when you open the site. A 5 year old child knows that. It is what people do over here. It is like having a music store where you hide ALL your instruments and when somebody asks you where you can find a guitar you refer him to the groundplan of the house you can find on their website somewhere .... just walk with him and show him the guitars damned. And off course better would be not to hide the instruments in a MUSIC STORE. Point understood now?I'll refer you to post 19 of this very thread.
Edit: Godwin's law already.
And this is where you go wrong. This is a thread about making threads on GTPlanet, yet here you are going on about GT7's difficulty and other threads being locked. And the same thing you guys do when people criticize the game. Also that is a tyrans method. Put out all critics.
When somebody says a race seems impossible you answer practise more. When somebody says the game has some very frustrating dishonest things built in it you laugh at those people. Thus you guys are being totally arrogant. Can people react to this post or again are you shutting people up for their honest opinion and take a monopoly on the thruth yourself? I am wondering what you fear the most
