How to post video from PS3?

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to post race video from a PS3? I can export the video to the PS3 game save info but I'm lost from there. I've looked and I can't find any info on this.

You could export the Replay save file so you could import the files on another PS3 to see the replay in game on your friends GT6 for example...
If you meant viewing the replay such as MP4, avi...etc on PC then i afraid you had to get some Game Recorder Devices to record those replays...

The options you have for Game Capture devices are Hauppauge, Roxio and Elgato products. I have a Roxio one, but I needed an HDMI splitter aside from the capture device because the HDMI signals from the PS3 have HDCP. I don't know if you would also need an HDMI splitter for the Elgato and Hauppauge ones. Just look around the internet if you need more info. 👍

If you curious, I currently own an Elgato Game Capture HD Device. Bought it for $129 from Amazon because most of what I have found for sale over here is rather overpriced....

Are the above mentioned programs written for the PS3?

Is the only free method to record from a camera or smartphone with a camera?

Edit: after a brief search I see there are many game capture devices for any computer to monitor/TV device.
