Go to options menu on main screen and bind a button to turn ghosts on/off, default on controller is Up arrow if I'm not mistaken?

You can either turn off ghost like @funz suggests, which will also remove your own ghost car, or unfriend everyone. The second is an unrealistic option I know. I agree that PD should have added an option to turn off friend ghost lines but keep your own ghost car.

Removing people from the friend list has been reported as not working, so I wouldn't recommend it.

no mate . i get them in the time trail and license section
