I have upgraded my 330 P4 slightly but now that i'm finished doing the Historic Car event, how do i remove the upgrades?

Go to your garage, choose the car, select Tuning. After that go under individual categories (engine, turbo, intake, exhaust, etc) and choose Stock or Normal.

You can remove some but not others. Things like exhausts and turbochargers are fine, but engine tuning stages, weight reduction stages, rigidity and lightweight "glass" can't be removed.

Is it right or there is a way to do it? Don't tell me that i have to buy a new one!?

Or maybe using the Power & Weight limiters (patch 1.06) will achieve the same effect?

An engine Stage 3 limited to the point of the original bhp of that car will have the same effect as removing the upgrade?

If you remove something does it go to your item file for a reinstall later or just disappears ?

It's still on the car but it does not have any effect till you choose to use it again.

u can't remove an item, you just select the original one (eg exhaust) and deselect the upgraded one, choosing not to use it.

??? I repeat my question ???:

It stays "on" the car, but not active. You just go back to the car and check the box on the upgraded part instead.

A huge pop-up window came up when you added those parts saying "this can not be removed". If you added it anyway, then you guessed it, it can not be removed.

No it won't, because it caps the power output, and doesn't lower it to the original state. So a car with using the limiter might have the same peak bhp, but a better power distribution over the whole rpm-range.

There IS no going back after these upgrades. You have been warned when you installed them.

Why did you repost the exact same thing?
You can add more weight, the power limiter will produce a similar power level but it wouldn't be delivered the same way. If you want a stock car, buy another one.

The answers are already in this thread.

because i didn't get an answer, instead u are interfering with my question so u have few easy choices:
1. find that question stupid? don't answer
2. you have a solution, speak!
3. read carefully, because i know well that those parts cannot be removed as I stated myself, what I'm asking is:

IF, in your opinion, working with power and weight limiter on an upgraded (stage3 engine) car would have a similar effect of a stock car? (clear NOW?)

And I answered that question as well.
You can add the weight back with ballast, it should be the same as stock weight.
You can limit the power to the stock power, but the power curve will be different. Clear now?

No, it would not have the same effect as a stock car. The power and torque would be delivered lower down the rev range so that engine would feel like a diesel.

If you wish to return your car to a stock setting, buy a new one, or don't install things you cannot remove.

It was not clear what you were asking, so don't get annoyed when people do not understand what you want to know.

EDIT: Nice edit, freedomweasel. Your original message was the power would be delivered the same way...
