Since we've seen PD do a 'professional' and 'admirable' job on eliminating duping by setting a gift car credit value limit, how do you think will they deal with the SSR7 glitch?

Be as creative as possible.

I think they will take down open lobby completely and force people to use private rooms.

or,

Ban the use of the GTR online.

or,

Shift Le Mans endurance to level 40 and Nurburgring 24 h to level 50.

My remedy: Remove EVERY single skyline from the game. What an excelent result :D

They will limit the credit payout for any race to a maximum of 10,000 credits. Ofcourse the hardliners will cheer and welcome this limit because it means they'll get to play GT5 even longer before completing the game ;)

I was thinking, more along the lines of fixing the track, patch the glitch wall? Why do anything like stated above?

rearrange the checkpoint will increase laptime a little bit. Unless the checkpoint is on each far edge of the track.

The main issue to deal with is to close that small gap. Hopefully it will not cost hundred MBs of patch.

I said, be as creative as possible. Think like PD and not like normal human beings.

I think thats how PD should be thinking....changing the start finish line (or checkpoint) is also good, but c'mon why ban gtr's, when you can do it with X1's and probably other cars.....or how about, putting in a lampsot or tree, were you squeeze into the wall?? ;)

Shut down all servers, set xp and cash rewards to 1 per race across the board, limit car use to the subaru 360 and the only track available would be indy oval.

That should stop any hackers, hopefully! And make grinding a thing of the past.

Nice, I approve.

First place in any race on SSR7 will get no payout, loose their car and have their bank limit reduced so low they cannot save up enough to buy a GTR.

They will leave the hole in the wall and add another bit to the track so you fall straight into hell when you drop down under the road.

There will also be a new staircase back up to the road, with a hefty 60M Cr. toll to enter. Your wallet can only go to 20M, but the toll will unlock a new negative 40M limit for those who have sinned.

Incredible. :bowdown::bowdown:

You are assuming some of us care about completing the game... I have never completed any game in the GT series to 100%... yet I played all games to the fullest...

They will add a new option to online driving, which allows people to automatically do donuts in the middle of the track by simply pressing X.

This way all the people who complain about not being able to do rounds in less than 2 seconds can finally stop bitching about the game being too hard and loosing.

Everyone will be happy, like they were after original seasonal events have been adjusted in difficulty.

👍

GT5, The Real Subaru 360 Simulator™. :dopey:

Hopefully they introduce some fresh new glitches that allows DLCs to be gifted. Imagine the hilarity that ensues...

It would be the greatest easter egg ever if they actually programmed in like a hell level that you came to after like 5minutes of falling down from SSR7 and smuggled it in under the radar in the next update. Then when you finally get to hell your car just does donuts on its own and your money is displayed as it counts down to zero. Everyone goes straight to SSR7, rushes to the wall, "yes! It still wooorrkksss!!!! wait what?" (5 minutes later) "nooooo!!!!!"

Why not make an invisible wall around the start/finish line underneath the track so those who use the glitch get a nice surprise?

They will just fix the 3D moddeled map, you just will not be able to drive into a wall.. Its a one hour job to be honest (I worked with 3D myself, I know it).. i dont understand why PD is taking so long to fix this, its probably lack of information PD have, and I think PD could detect cheated profiles and turn them back to normal, or at least ban from online.. some of us can dream of it :))

this would be funny as hell :D

Love the idea of an invisble wall on the start finish line (stretching far enough down to stop the glitch) such that the only option is to exit. All that trouble of leaving the track for nothing!

I think they should add a simple "-" symbol for when the rewards are displayed after a SSR7 glitch race.

Negative credits and negative xp for anyone that went through the hole in the wall :)

It is a very easy fix for them to do..

BUT, I think the best solution is to turn a cheater's whole garage into pink Fiat 500s that can't be sold, traded or deleted. :trouble:

They will add two checkpoints on the north and south side of the course. They will look at the strongest offenders and perma-ban their console from playing Gran Turismo 5 online, with the rest being warned not to do it again.

FFS, is no one creative enough here?

-After removing the GTR from the recommended tab, PD will make it so that any cars in your garage above 1000 miles will shrivel into dust and disappear.

-The price of the GTR in the dealership will be set at 20,000,000 and it cannot be shared/gifted.

-They will close the gap in the wall and open another one elsewhere. Just a matter of finding it.
