I want to thank you again Mr. Holland and tell you that I am quite proud of you for stepping up on drafting day and making a decision for the team in light of the situation that you were faced with. You showed skill and ability in the face of the situation and you performed well.

:blush: I just did what i thought was best for the team:)

But while we are busy, i would like to thank our teamcaptain ( you:p ) for his outstanding leadership, his excellent motivationmethods( ladies at GTN;) ) and for being fast as hell!

A raise?? Am i getting paid then?:p
 
I think that we should certainly continue in our motivational techniques! :D Even in light of the suckiness that I displayed last round with the Panoz.

But I really like the Castrol, very competent handeling!

What do you mean your not getting paid? :confused: I told my secretary to mail all your paychecks directly to your house. Damn her! :p I will get right on this matter Mr. Holland!

Well, I guess so, ;) but you have to bring out some of those exotic Holland babes that you have out there. :D

And you only get to drive the BMW M5, that's the slowest car of the bunch, until you get used to driving up here in the mountains.

I don't mind driving the M5, that's still alot better from what i'm driving now: NOTHING!!

Yeah, nothing wrong with my liver. The whole weekend was just one big party, 24/7. I've slept around 3 hours this weekend, but it was fun:D

I was chatting on MSN with a girl i met a week before at a party.
After an hour she said she wanted to tell me something important. Then she told that spanish sentence and went offline.
I had no idea what she said at the time, so i posted it here.

When i realised what she said, i called her up, asked her out and......... :D:D Got myself a new girlfriend

Right now, I'm enjoying the single life! Finally got those girls that I was dating off my back! :cool: WHEW, that was exhausting.
 
Just curious, and apologize for the interruption here for a moment guys.

I've been taking a bit of time and doing a bit of OLR when I get the chance, but have run into a bit of a problem. One of the gents I'm racing is in England (PAL) I'm over here in the US (NTSC). Which creates a bit of a problem.

What I'm wondering is how GTD2 works with the competing format? Does JMR have two systems, or one that has been modified? Is there software out there to convert from one format to another?

The Castrol Tom's is a great ride. Should I take a few moments, (as an HSB Cheerleader) and see what I can do with it?

Yeah, that damn PAL and NTSC system differences really sucks! What GTN does for example is: If I am a NTSC user and submit a replay a admin at the site that is a NTSC user will DL and review my replay where someone else will DL and view a PAL users replay and then they just report in wether or not the replay was clean and valid. There is a "mod chip" or something to that effect that one could install in there PS2 to make it able to read both PAL and NTSC. I'm not sure where one would get such a thing but they do exist. JMR might have one of these also.

And yes, feel free to take a spin in the Tom's. Settings and times have already been posted in the private garage.

How's my cheerleading division doing? :D

HSB is into round 5 with the Tom's Castrol Supra at Deep Forest. We had a tough time in round 4 at Tokyo. We took the Panoz Esperante GTR 1 and it was not the car that I had thought it was.

So what's up with you gents? Good to see the both of ya!

Seing as how boom is the unofficial leader here, and has directed us to do so, where would you like me to run? With a deadline like december I can fit it in.

A direction is all I need.

Is this "Boom's Time trials"?

Well, i will do what boom says, as he is our captain, but i still don't see how this is helpful in searching the 8 best racers.
It's just too much.

If we can choose from 800+ racecombinations, there won't be many people driving the same car on the same track. Little difficult to compare racers if they all drive different things.

No need for scuroulous remarks here. I think that what we need to do here is outline a plan for ourselfs.

I know that time is a valuable commodity for all of us and we should each take a second to evaluate ourselfs in our strengths and weaknesses. Based on our individual strengths and weaknesses we then could deduce a select number of tracks and cars that we should use. This will streamline the requirements for what is required of us and lessen our time commitments. I think that it would make for a more powerful resume to state that we have eached picked our strengths and weaknesses and have submitted times for them accordingly.
 
Good attitude, Boom. Instead of worrying over how you exactly match, use your imagination. Infact, if members here (gtp) want to devise their own series and pm me the results, that will be good.
 
Allright.

But i think we're not the problem.
Those people without a team, never competed in a comp before don't really know where to start. They want to join this, read the post and see that they can choose from 800 races. That would scare me off too.

I just hope that this time there will be much more people competing that last time. And maybe making it a little smaller would attract more people to join.

But seriously, if I've got a good relpay to learn from, I can learn rather quickly. Not the best at tuning, but I keep pretty good notes.
