It's OK man, those cars didn't like to turn very well. I did so good race 1, then it all fell apart!

edit 2: We will open this thursday with the HST Lap Time Challenge, if anyone who would like to post a time before we begin racing.

Yikes.. for some reason I have not been getting alerts for this thread, and then the way it's been with me lately I kind of lost track of what's going on this week, and..... this isn't the car list I worked through, but that's not a problem, other than me not paying attention. My selection was the GT Classics..
I will select a ride right now, and be ready to wagon it up tomorrow..

BTW for all you guys who love those, I really thought those Lexus IS 200 Sportcross were sweet IRL.
And I'm not really a wagon lover. One of my first vehicles was a '61 Plymouth wagon, with the push button gear selector and waterfall speedo.

That's it... I've decided... I'm bringing the Volvo. If I remember correctly it's around 470pp fully tuned... but with a weight ratio of like 63/37 it's just too much fun to pass up. My goal tonight will be to refine the tune and keep up as best as possible :D

@euclid58 Yep, it's still on it's way. I had outlined the schedule up to the Top Gear Challenge already, so after that, the next 3 races will be based on what you, roy and gtracer chose.

@Severn Good Deal man, I need someone to hang out with in the back of the pack for once!

Sorry guys, I see where some confusion came from, I tagged @euclid instead of @Severn for this events car list :dunce:

Fixed now. Sorry bout that!

and remember, the order is

Change Cars, Buy Parts, Enter Race… Otherwise you'll have a Fit with a 6 Speed

@BionicDerp, @euclid58 and I practiced at the Nurb after you left. S'gunna be a good race.

Thing is, the track is only as wide as the car is long... so it reeeeally makes for some interesting corners.

I'm taking off my turbo and maybe even adding more limiting to the engine. My car was out of control, I need to start sticking to my abilities, and that's not going fast most of the time.

Bellow is the photo post I was talking about last night.

I was just goofing off one night and did a photo set with a bunch of hidden crap in them.
Haha that's great.

I was thinking about snapping a shot of my lead drifting and photoshopping troll faces into the smoke... but I forgot to save the replay haha

Yeah, you guys that have joined HST more recently missed a lot in the early days, but I think it's even more awesome-er now than before!

I joined right around the time you made those pics, it was a good welcome :P With additional laughter

I'm struggling trying to tame a RS6 around the course. Any tips? I might just opt towards an Impreza wagon and stay obvious.

Master MDA, if you come to the 'Nurb next week I tried the RS6 with Stage 3 weight redux, torque split at 25:75, increased rear acceleration sensitivity to make it behave more like an FR, and reduced front deceleration (braking) sensitivity to help with turn in with the AWD understeeriness. And my ultra radical rear caster tweak that I do a lot with cars like this.. -.20 to help rotate around corners. This thing chews up the front tires quick, so I also ran my ABS at 2.

You should start using the other panning modes... :P

I need to take more pics. I was in a rush and lost one of Jay with cross processing that looked really cool.
So later I'll try to edit the post.
I know most of them look hazy.

Randomly saw this online this morning, could it be Bionic? Just kidding! (In reference to his awesome mic remixes during races.)

Oh yeah! I've been slacking on the forums, I'll get it up to speed soon.

I'm so jealous of a project in working on here at work. A customer wrecked a 500000 (yes 1 half million) dollar Porsche GT3R, had it cut in half, and is making it a race sim! We are going to wrap it back to the original look. Here's what I have to work with:

And here I was thinking it would be cool to rip the passenger seat out of my '07 Rabbit to make a rig out of
VERY WANT!

I'm considering checking out my local junk yards now for a beater to cut in half
