Hi guys,
After some BIOS problems with my old motherboard (Mainboard?) I bought a new one.....Yes, i tried updating the old BIOS, but nothing worked...anyway....
The new one is a MSI K7N2 Delta 2. It has an nForce 2 Ultra 400 Chipset, and integrated sound (some 6.1 or 5.1 surround). I use headphones/a headset and after installing the drivers that came with it, I had a terrible sound without any base(bass?) and like the sound you get on some laptop/notebook speakers, but in your headset.....
Thought that the AC97 drivers that came with the board were bad, so installed the newest nVidia nForce Audio drivers I used with my old board.....and it made no difference, the sound quality is still F-ed up, and nothing improved......I really need some help, to get my sound back, because it can't be possible for MSI to release a mainboard with such a CRAP audio sollution, especially if it's supposed to be a 5.1.......It has something to do with the software....
Thanks a lot for your help !! Happy Vallentine's day
PS: Yes....I checked my headphones, they are louder even hooked up to my 10 Year old Hi-fi that costed 20 euros.....duh
