I am currently in the hunt for a totaled Toyota Supra Turbo. I would like it to be manual, and the engine/tranny must be runnable. If you can find a half-car that meets this, that will work as well. If you know of any sites, as well, I would be much obliged. Thanks all.

Where abouts are you man, cause I know of several places you can get what you want, one place even has the wreack of a 99 christmas edition supra

I checked them both a while ago, Famine. To my dismay, I only found one potential and it isn't likely. It's an automatic and depending on what the going rate is, the shipping is way too high for them, $650, hmmm... I'll think about it.

For everyone who's wondering, why does he need this?, I currently own a 1982 BMW 528e that is tastefully modified, but I have a little problem. The engine won't idle correctly and the tranny is shot, it won't shift anymore. It's all good though, because I got 80k out of it and I don't really like the torque curve of the 5-series I-6. So I'm searching for a new style engine for my baby, and I think a Supra I-6 turbo will do nicely. I will probably beef it a little, but most of all change to single larger turbo, for better torque curve possibilities and more horsepower at lower Rpms.

Aaaah - I see where you're going now. My bad.

I'm trying to find a mangled Mazda MX-6/Ford Probe on 50,000 miles or less for similar reasons (I have an MX-3... :D).

Good luck with that though. And if you're lucky, you won't have the "Best Japanese i6 engine" police coming down on this thread, arguing the Skyline TT against the Supra TT... :D

Believe you, me Famine, I love the Skyline engine, I just feel it should be used in a 4wd its designed to be in. I think I would also like to use a Skyline engine on a Porsche or a R30 or R31 Skyline. Yeah, I plan on doing a lot of whacky engine/car setups.

Also, my best bro. here has an MX-6, which I think is kind of interesting how that works. He's not looking to sell it though.

Cheers, but I've a feeling those sites are not really geared to a UK-dweller :D

Besides, until I'm properly solvent again (and I've cleared the debts run up from 8 months of not-employedness) I'm only half-looking. If one turns up cheap, I'll buy it and bang it in my garage until I can afford to fit it. And pay the extra insurance. But until then, I'm just browsing :D

In fact I may just ignore it altogether and drive the car as it was meant. That way, I'll be able to buy my Supra TT/NSX a lot sooner :D

Soo... why are they called "Noyan USA" then? :D
