I... don't... get it.

I was the same way only a few weeks ago. One thing that helped me a lot was a simple explanation.

I found it in a drifting article about Rhys Millen and his new GTO. On driving, he basically said that for more angle, he'd add throttle, and for less angle he'd use less throttle. He called the handbrake his 'hail mary switch.' That finally got through to me, and I started learning to control my throttle inputs.

Now I'm actually a little better than my more experienced friend who just handbrake drifts. Now I just need to stop mixing tires. :guilty:

about that, in a AWD its different, the less throttle , the slower ur going to go, but i think that GTO is a FR so , idk much TT_TT

countersteer. modulate throttle.. Practice mainly.. nobody drifted in one day.. it took me 2 months to get it right...

Does anyone have a video of someone doing a sweetass drift around that huge almost complete circular turn on Complex String? The one after the stretch after the big slalom. Looks like a golfball and has multiple small ones like it afterwards.

I finally was ably to connect some turns today! I changed up the settings and the angle felt alot easier to dial in or out. The way I did it was power oversteer then a lift, then throttle modulation to keep the back end out.

The three longest turns in gt3? besides test course... Why do you want to see a video of that?

Is the half circle before the straight away in apricot hill one of them? I really need some advice on that one.

i think the more challenging turns are the small , multiple , quick turns in ss5.. i like to push the car as much as possible in those turns

I can do it... It's not that hard.. Ive held the SS5 turn, Akasaka (tokyo) and complex..

i don't think you should even drift on corners that can be gripped. well thats if you're trying to improve lap times and corner executions. on low angle corners that doesnt need drifting can slow you down when you do drift them. but if you're doing it all just for flashy show...go for it. but i think improving faster times around the corners is more challenging

oh yeah...can anyone top 1:30:47 lap time around the SS5 course with a s13 2000cc lightly tuned to 256 HP with suspension mods and level one weight reduction? that's my best lap time for that car, but i believe it can be improved. if anyone DOES top that...help me out with some specific corner tips
