I Finaly Got Driving Force!!!

Just practice with it - you'll soon get the hang of it. And dont be afraid to give it some stick, they must be built solid to cope with my energetic style for a year.

You might want to have a bit of a tinker with which of the 'modes' you're using - beginner, simulation, that sort of thing - in the options. You could also tighten up the steering when you calibrate the wheel in the options, i.e. set full-lock up as only a quarter turn of the wheel, rather than almost half.

From what I've seen and experienced, the wheel tends to promote a smoother driving style, because unlike the D-Pad or the sticks on the controllers, you don't have instant 'full lock', rather you have a gradual turn-in of the front wheels as you turn the wheel in.

That is bizarre - check the Options again. Also unplug the wheel from the power, and plug it back in again - same with the USB port into the PS2.

i fixed it i had a power cord hoked up (the ones with the red switch and like 5 outlets on it). but the light dosn't work and it got bumped off i didn't know and just switched it as a last resort and it worked! thanks for the support and help.

Hey - no problem. Glad to hear you're back up and running.

I would suggest you give the wheel its own wall outlet - there is a bug unique to GT3 with the force-feedback wheel (well, certainly the GT Force, dunno about the Driving Force) where the wheel will just drop off-line, and you'll need to unplug and replug the USB plug (while the console's on and the game's running) to get the wheel going - it's meant to be a voltage issue, apparently.

Appreciate it's difficult to find a spare outlet these days, though.

hah...

hey speeding, i have it too.. guess what.. i drft....

all you need to do is practice feint.... not powerover...
powerover is really easy.. but its also really difficult to control with the wheel... (i like to keep the gas pegged!)

hey me 2
lol
i had a really hard time my first try too.... just ....
oh
what i did was in arcade mode
go to arcade mode, and then get a Altezza RS200
run it on trail mountain, its fun :p

I liked it on my first experience...congrats on getting it mate :)

Have you started winning races with it?

Faster than the control stick? What do you mean? Acceleration, or turning? Or both?
