I guess it was inevitable...

I am currently trying to sell the car. I am going to apply for a job in the service department at the dealership I work at and I need more tools.

Anywho, that was quick. I would make sure you have the job first before selling the car. In any case, I'm sure you could acquire those tools over time without have to sell the car. Check your local Craigslist for used tools, might find a few deals.

Yes, but I am lacking in things I'd need to start. I just ordered a $280 set of craftsman tools last night but I am still going to need an impact and some sockets for that plus whatever else. I also have my AW11 for sale so we'll see what happens. I doubt I'll sell either before I find out anything but it doesn't hurt to have the word out there early just in case.

Ironically the job is as a Mazda technician so I'd be working on Miatas among other things.

So then why would you sell a car that you would become mechanically familiar with anyway? Although I kind of understand it, a lot of people don't get into an automotive career for a similar reason, one needs to separate work life from recreation life.

I really want to buy another MR2 turbo. I miss my old one. I almost hope I don't get the job so I'll have the money sometime this decade.

Meh. Miatas should be NA. MR2s should be turbo.

It snowed on monday. It was nearly 50f today. I don't know weather to wear a coat or drive the miata top down. Its fricking January or at least I think it is.

I'm a very confusing individual. Most of the time I don't even know what I'm thinking.

Really. I change my mind so frequently it often goes unnoticed.

Just looking at those pics makes me want to keep it again. This throws a monkey wrench it my thought process.

I have to say I always enjoyed driving MR2s more than Miatas, even if the Miata was easier to take to the limits consistently. But after years of MR2 driving, you just kind of get use to that razor's edge versus the much kinder Miata setup.

Part of me wants to pick up an SW20 at some point, if just to say I've had the set of W chassis cars :p But that will be down the road a bit.

I'd say sell it unless you love the FR feeling more, but in that case, just sell it anyhow and buy an M3. The obvious solution, duh. :dopey:

I love the minimalist feel of the miata. FR is pretty good... Something about me just loves the MR2 more than anything. I really really want another turbo SW. That car is so brutal when tuned and you can really enjoy it like that. You have to work for it. I can imagine the miata would be great fun of course... I have autoxed one before so I dunno. So confusing.

If you were about 12 hours closer I would definitely show up with cash in hand... How much are you asking anyway? Trying to find out what a fair price is for one of these cars. Need to act soon if I want to avoid spring convertible prices.

I am sort of liking the idea of the spec 2 the more I think about it. I reckon I'll give it another week or two and then start ordering parts maybe? I don't know.
