First of all, do you have MKs program on your computer? Secondly, you need a gamesave on your computer as well.

Are you on NTSC or PAL? If you are on PAL you can't get the body.

Ok, Japanese, you win it...
NA you use the GS/AR/CB/ or MK to get it.
PAL you can get it at all.

For a little history thing, it appeared on the Japanese version, but PD didnt get to permission from Lamborghini to put it on, so all they did was remove the body and a few other things to where you couldnt get it, but some fine people that were really good at hacking, found the base codes and supplied us with the codes we needed. when the PAL version came out, it was fully removed from the game.

Only the body was removed. All the parts are still there.

Although a Diablo is not a Diablo without the Diablo body.

thats the american version, its not in the PAL at all...

No, he is correct, all the parts for the Diablo GT are available for use in the PAL version of the game, only the body was left out.

daan - Scotland - PAL - uses MK's - builds hybrids - knows what parts are available to PAL hybrid builders

GT-40/787b - USA - NTSC - builds hybrids - does not know what parts are available to PAL hybrid builders

Japanese NTSC: Car selectable in-game.
US NTSC: Car not selectable in-game. Vehicle remains on-disc.
PAL: Car body removed from disc (along with Lancia Stratos, Alitalia Stratos, 6 NTSC F1s and Porsche 996 911 GT3), but parts remain (as with all other cars where bodies were removed).

Many people put a Diablo gearbox into their hybrids, in the mistaken assumption it's got 7 gears. Only to find their car going backwards in any of the 6 forward gears...

i found out how to do the diablo trick on accident. WHOO HOO!
it ended up being on the "body/downforce" choice list on the MKS v38.

If U picked it off of the body/df list, what u did was put the diablo body on what ever car was already there. What U want to do is right click on that car, and select "change car" from the list and select it from that list. That will give U the complete Diablo. I would however suggest swapping in a different race tranny afterwards to avoid the usual Diablo tranny probs.
