I have a problem, Need help

Have an alternate account with some tickets and other stuff on it. My problem is the game won't load. I put the disk in and the screen goes black, then it shows the GT emblem like it's loading, but it just hangs there. The first time I only let it sit for like 4 min. then I gave up and hit the PS button to quit game. When I did it quit then restarted the system. The second time I tried it sat on that screen for two hours before I turned it off. It plays fine on my other account. Any ideas?
 
 
I did. Some say "it was network update at the time and now it's working fine" others say "seems to be working this morning" no real answers or fixes. I did try what they had mentioned in a few of those, but it seems most of them were having connection issues where as mine loads fine on the other account.
 
How about, backing up your save, deleting the install and re installing and trying again.

Create a new account. Try to log in. If you can log in with the new account and your main account, then it's obvious your second account is bollixed. Shoot an e-mail to Sony asking why.

Did you create the second account before the LulzSec attack on PSN? And do you still have access to the e-mail you used to create the account?
 
I can do it fine on my alternative account. Must be your install. I had it- wipe all game data from the options menu in miscellaneous. 👍
 
Here's a question: Will it load on your alternate account if you turn off the internet? If it doesn't, then the Game Data wipe may be the ticket.
 
I really appreciate all of the help you guys are throwing at me. I'm at work now but as soon as I get home I'll try this out and let you know. Once again thanks for the advice
 
+1 to the people saying to delete to game data. This has happened to me before and I tried that and it worked fine.
 
Well I just deleted the game data took about 45 min to re-install update and it still does the same thing. Like I said the game loads and goes to a black screen, it will sit on this screen until you touch a button, x or triangle are the only two I've tried. It then makes a sound as if you,ve selected something and goes to the silver shimmering GT emblem. It will sit on this screen till you reset the system.
 
Happened to me. Reconfigure your internet. Should work fine after that.
