I have just come in possession of an older model PSP, and I'm thinking about hacking it to run homebrew. However, I know almost nothing about running PSP Homebrew, so I wonder if it is a wise move.
You see, I plan on using the PSP with my PS3 through Remote Play as well as playing some of the newer games like Vice City Stories and God of War, and I'm worried that hacking the PSP will prevent the use of those because they may require a higher firmware version.
So, should I do it?
If so, which custom firmware/homebrew hack should I look into?
If not, why not?
Note: It's a thick PSP running Firmware version 2.00, and I want it to work with a 60GB PS3.
