I don't understand how Steven Segal's attempt at a singing career is a reflection on America. His popularity, on the otherhand, would be.

For a joke to be funny, it has to make sense (unless you're going for the whole funny-because-it-doesn't-make-sense bit).

He's not bad. I've heard him play live a few times (TV only). Of all the actor/musician types I think he has the most talent (including Kevin Bacon). Better than Russel Crow, that's for damn sure.

But still, I wouldn't purchase one of his albums or go to one of his concerts.

For that style of music he sounds like he can hold is own, well at least in that song. But I have a feeling all his songs will sound pretty much the same, his voice doesn't change much in that video. I was wondering what he was upto since he quit his films, because they were voilent they gave him bad karma or something like that.
