I guess it's also possible when you use a car with 8 gears.

Kyle Busch hit 128 in an LF-A.

Sorry, I just had to.

I have been meaning to get the IS-F, but then again , I have been meaning to find time to play GT5

Hmmm....

I did 133 on I-26 in a Crown Vic. So I guess that I'm faster than Kyle Busch on the street.

No, I lied. I only did 112 mph on I-26. Damn traffic. And I probably would've hit 130 if they didn't wussify my rear axle ratio. Oh well. I can dream though.

The IS-F is an awesome car. What did I win that for? either 4 hour nurburgring in A or B spec, since I just got it.

It's amazing in DTM races. I've got it tuned just on the edge where it's very easy to completely lose it, but if you don't... it's practically an LMP.

Isn't he a race car driver? 128 seems a bit tame, especially in an LF-A. It must have been a lot faster than that.

110-115 isn't unusual for regular speeding tickets!

Well, he did it on a 45 mph limited road, up the street from a few schools that were about to let out for the day.

The turns in the road are far shorter than the LF-A's stopping ability at that range.

It was a stupid thing to do. LF-A testing has seen enough tragedy.

Granted, it's the stupid thing young guys do all the time. I've never gone that far above the speed limit, but I've gone that fast on interstates (This one having an unusually high 80mph limit).

And the guy has race cars and access to race tracks practically every day. He's got little excuse. What guy hasn't wanted to drive real fast? It's only natural. But he knows the implications. He could have easily hit a minivan on its way to those schools.

He's a young guy who did something stupid, and I'm not making a big deal out of it. He should pay his ticket and that's justice enough for me.

Ah, I see. Pretty stupid then!

By the way, you can 'edit' a post to add text :)

Cars like this tend to have lower CD than super cars, so in a not so complex game like GT5, such a speed isn't unexpected.
