hmmmmm, might I point out that the american dollar also sucks?
hell, canadians......who have been for many years the brunt of our jokes (american) about the value of their dollar compared to ours are silently watching theirs and ours close the gap, waiting until the day they get revenge on our elitist attutude. Grow up and realise that as great as our country is, it has many problems. One of which is people like you who think that the value of a persons wealth makes them somehow better.

In short , Shutup. The American dollar isn't worth enough to use it as a high stance.

Might I add that the pound, even though is down from itself, is still WELL more value than our dollar.

Pound is down to 1.7542 as we speak, sorry the Canadian dollar isn't important enough for me to even follow. Glad to know it is treating you ok though. I am surprised because it has gone from more than 1.60 in 2002 to now below 1.25. (just glanced at the chart)

Bear with me, I can't make any sense out of what you are saying, I have a masters in international management and trade foreign currency for a living. Things are relative, either they are gaining in value (vs something else) or losing. It makes it sounds like you think that value is associated with a number when it is what can be done with that number that matters. It sounds like you are saying 4 $20s is more money than a $100 bill because it is 4 peices of money. GBP went from 1.57165 to 1.29265 vs the dollar in the year you say the dollar lost 25% relative to the GBP it gained, what did it lose 25% of its value against? (like I asked earlier....compared to what)

You remind me of Nigel on "this is spinal tap" confused and stating "this one goes to 11"
