I need a car for the DTM series

As topic, really. What's the best way to get a car fr the DTM series? Should I keep refreshing the UCD until an Audi TT or Merc appears, or is either the M3 or the Astra from the online dealer competitive?

Lexus ISF concept, available new from Lexus dealer, is eligible and can win it with no mods.

I also used the ISF and thought it was a handful until I started getting the other DTM's and found the ISF is actually not bad compared to some others hehe.

Astra Touring car and BMW M3 GTR Racer are in the online UCD at the moment.

The Astra did it no problem for me, from the online UCD.

Great fun, and you soon make the money back - no need for upgrades other than oil.

I've done it in both the Lexus and the BMW GTR (bought in the OCD). The BMW will win the races VERY easily stock from the OCD. If you want more of a challenge, the Lexus will be more fun (depending on much you mod it).

I really wish they would have made at least one premium DTM car other than the Lexus. The IS F is a great car, but I would have preferred to run the series with a real DTM car. (I did it before the latest Online Dealer update).

Used the ISF to do B-Spec and it won by miles. Tempted to get the M3 for when I'm fit enough to do A-Spec (I have Swine Flu at the mo), pretty much just because it's a better looking car.

I used the M3 GTR and really enjoyed the car... it was incredibly fast stock and I had the lead easily on the first lap... that part wasn't so much fun... but the overall driving experience was great, it handles amazingly well though.

I destroyed that series with the ABT TT. Handles as if it is glued to the tracks... very forgiving when you have an aggressive driving style (pushing hard, late braking, sharp cornering due to the crappy DS3 )

I used the 190 merc from the UCD and left it completely stock. The races were quite fun but still quite easy to win.

The only drawback to using the Lexus is that you win it anyways from an endurance race in B-Spec. Still, the car is the best of the DTMs available (premium cars are a tipping point for me). I may splurge and try the two cars on the OUCD though just to have them in my garage.

how do you refresh the UCD??

My fave is the Alfa 155. A bit behind the others in sheer power, but its handling is amazing. This car can pass the corners at least 10 kph faster than every over DTM car.
