I have about 35 cars in my garage, but none are "MR". I need to win a "MR" car to be able to race the "MR Challange(s)". I guess I could buy one, but i'd much rather save the money. Where is the best place to win a a"MR" car?
Thanks,
Aaron.

Do the rubber band trick on Super Speedway to win...:)

I would copy it from neon's post in another thread...but i'm too Lazy. :irked:

Resist the urge! Do not be seduced by the Dark Side of the Force!

Get the NSX - it's more than enough to beat almost all of the street cars, and with upgrades it's a great thing. The F1 will disturb the delicate balance of the GT3 universe if you use it this early, young Jedi. You will grow old before your time...

But it's still good to have an F1 and at least save it up for the Formula GT ;)

neon, it may be overkill, but he is a new member. maybe he has to get used to the game and stuff, then have a challenge.

Trust me, it's a lot better to work your way up slowly on the chain... I got an F1 fairly early in the game, and my OLR skills are suffering because of it. :(

No they're not, my friend...

Anyway, McLaren the NSX will be plenty easy to beat the AI with, and it's a great car to learn how to drive in since it responds so beautifully to weight transfer.

i enjoyed doing the FR amateur league with a mini cooper :) thats fun. and i don't really like NSX's, on gt3, so i wouldn't really know much about em. but i like em in real life. except i do like the mugen, raybrig, and the arta on the game, they almost make it to my speed list.:D

damn the ZZII is 4WD i must have thought since u gto it from the MR challenge it was, i didnt even check, but i use that car a lot, i like it, in real life it looks awesome

I went ahead and bought the NSX type R (drivers great) and upgraded everything on it. I’ll use it in the type R series too...I know I didn’t want to spend any money, but I figure it will be easy to make it back.

Another quick question: Any recommendations for the professional spider & roadster series? I got a Miata all done up and it destroyed in the beginner league, but it barley contends in professional (haven’t tried messing with the settings yet. except taking off the TCS).

Thanks!

Another good MR car for the beginner and amateur races it the Lotus Elise. There are a plethora of places that you can win one. Fully upgraded it can run and compete in the Spider and Roadster races.
The Ruf 3400 is also a "winnable" car, in amateur league. It's in one of the early 5 race series. Euro or German, I believe. Fully upgraded it can be devastating in the spider/roadster cups.

I ran the Pro Spider&Roadster in a full-on Mugen S2000. It was a fun race series with that setup.

Another AWESOME roadster. Good Choice, Duke.

no matter how many times i race the am type r i can never win the mugen s2000 and i want it so bad i get every other piece of sht... mostly s2000 reg tho oh well

i think even a reg s2000 type v is good for proff league just never pit with hard ass tires adn you should be fine in all ib required races with 10 or more laps

Back on the track...
Another great mid engine car is the Road GT-40.
It is very fast. Handles well. AND as a bonus, it's good looking to boot.

Road GT40??? :yuck: That's absolutely horrible! The Race GT40 is the one for the job...;) It lapped CS about 10 seconds faster for me!
