If you riding the whole first gear your time won't be faster than 9.1sec. You have to setup 2 gear to quick shift into it.

soooo... shorten your 2nd gear and 3rd gear subsequently to make up for lowering 2nd. start in 1st gear then immediately shift into 2nd gear. it should hold for about 3 seconds then begin to rise. after that shift as usual. if you read the stickied threads at the top of the list you will learn how to do it.
