I was looking at my Grandfathers WWII photo and it has some writing on the back of it. Unfortunately my mom scribbled on it with pen when she was really little, and it is in cursive. Can anyone read what it says.

The only thing i could get out of it was at the start where it says "Red cross on helmet..."

The pictures are huge so you can see the words better and it looks like the first picture has better quality (my moms camera is garbage)

EDIT: I just figured out some more "Red cross on helmet.... ....that i'm a medic and i'm unarmed" I just cant read what it says under it either

It says:

"Red Cross on helmet in
dicates that I'm a medic
and I'm unarmed.

"Don't shoot please!"

Click thumbs...

As for your Mum's writing, I haven't a clue! :p

💡 Yes, that makes alot more sense!

Even the punctuation indicates that it's just one person speaking... the missing quote at the end of the first sentence is consistent with the second sentence following on from the first...

Reminds me of that old joke about Kurt Cobain... Courtney Love sent a tear-soaked letter to her parents one night... Her mother says, pointing to an obscured word, "Jeez, I can hardly read this... is that an 'I' or an 'O'?" and her father says, "I think it's an 'O'...", and her mother replies "OH MY GOD! Kurt has shot himself!"

That's why i said scribbled and not wrote
me

When i said "and its in cursive" I meant my grandfathers writing (I can't read cursive that well)

OK, I misread your post. I disconnected the cursive to her, not your grandfather.

Can I go back under my rock, now?
