I need of advice on a TV wall mount

Can anyone give me some advice for a wall mount for my Sony KDL20S3000 20" Bravia?

This is the best I've found so far as I'm not sure about the quality of the cheaper ones, there are so many different types out there all for various prices. I'm not too bothered about any movement and obviously I want it to be strong and reliable.

I have no idea what type to go for or where to get it from so any help would be greatly appreciated! 👍

BTW I'm in the UK :)

I have one that looks identical, just silver, that has been holding up a 32" LCD for a couple of years with no problem. It cost something like $20. It'll be fine.
 
That TV weights in at only 7kg (without the stand). Anything sturdier than a nail in drywall can hold that up. I wouldn't be worried about any mount, regardless of price.

Was a bit paranoid about coming home and finding my TV has body slammed my PS3 xD
 
wow that thing looks sturdier than the one I currently holing up my 46" Sony Bravia and mine is super safe, that thing will hold allot heaver TV than a 20" tv.

this is mine its basically two bars bolted to the wall with two other bars with hooks are bolted to the TV and the TV just hangs (Like Mr Cooper) down. it looks unsafe but actually i swung from it and its safe.

With these things, improper installation is usually culprit for fail-age.

My dads a painter & decorator and is handy with DIY kinda things so this shouldn't be a problem.

If it is, well... He'll be paying for a new TV and whatever it lands on :lol:

Good point. If you can, hitting a wall stud is ideal. If not, find some toggle bolts. Just make sure to check the dimensions to make sure they'll fit through the wall brackets holes and their holding power, but, again, holding up less than 10kg, a couple of these will easily do the job.
