dang, I posted this yesterday night!!! and there's 4 pages already! dude O_o
ok ok, as someone graciously posted, the event was held in mexico sity. The pics come from atomix, a mexican video-game magazine.
now, lets see:
those pics shown are from the press day, the actual days the event was held weren't like this, but incredibly, GT4 was one of the emptiest areas in EGS. the place was even fresher than in most stands! the people was scarce playin, you grabbed a controller (no wheel available), played your race, gave the controller to the next guy and lined un right behind him! hell, sometimes you didnt even have to line up at all! yes, it was... strange, that such an awesome game could be so empty. I went to check out the rest of the games, but none caught my attention so I went back to GT4 and player till my body couldnt take it... well, actually till they closed the stand. Hell, a staffer told me to turn the TV off when I finished the race, because the stand was bein' closed. yeap, till the very end =D
what else?
the Sauber Mercedes IS a monster to drive, its quick as hell. the E type year was my error, dont worry. No, I didnt see that BMW in the game, and Im sure the backfire was backfire because the rear end got illuminated really cool. I only saw this on the Jaguar, maybe the effect doesnt happen as often, and remember that there weren't heavily modified cars there, they were all stock. This explains why it happened on a race car too, but Im sure it was backfire.
