I have done a stupid thing!

Accidently deleted my game file (over 50 cars, level 12, almost 1M credits in the bank).

I know, I know...no sympathy.

However, if some kind soul can help me out with a spare car, it will help ease the long grind back.

I tell you what, I actually have an extra LF-A I don't need. I bought it in pink so I could paint the rims on my '69 Camaro drift car. If you don't mind a pink LF-A I can send you one when I wake up. I would do it now but I just started a long B-Spec endurance race to run while I go to bed.

I can add you when I wake up or you can add me now (Sephy71) and I'll send it late tomorrow morning :)

Don't thank me yet, lol. I don't have much. I may can give you a few cars you specifically need for certain races, like Lupo Cups or the Muscle Car race etc...

I sent you a car for the Japanese 70's cup early in the game. Give me a heads up on what series you need cars for so I won't accidentally send you something you already have or don't need. In game message would be better, I don't get on the forums much unless I'm bored at work.

Most of the crap I have are junkers from the used car lot. Stuff i liked growing up. I'm bad about spending on a bunch of cheap cars. Nothing high level or expensive to give if that's what you're looking for. I think the most expensive thing I have was the 512 to do that stupid italian cup.
 
Add me when you can mate and send me a message when you want a specific car. Mind you I am not so far ahead in the game so I can send you low to mid level cars but you could always use some "spare parts" if you want (tires, engine improvements, chassis improvements etc.) just ask for it.:D

At this stage, the car you sent is all alone in the garage. Will be starting from the beginning, so I have to do all the stages again.
 
Apparently you can only send one a day or something. I'm sure you guys know this, I had no idea. First gift car.
 
Level 12 is not that bad to restart. make sure you start backing up this time!

Lancelot.....question for you. What exactly did you do to accidentally delete everything. I'm a newbie, I don't want to do the same thing. More specifically.....I'm waiting to do my backup on a flashdrive (now that the 1.05 update allows that), but don't want to screw up and potentially lose everything. By the way.....I'd help you out, but I don't have much to offer beyond what the kind people on this board have already done.

I was going to back up my game file to a memory stick. In my haste, I selected delete instead of copy! I was doing other things at the time, and not paying attention.

My advice - go slow! Then copy your saved game to your computer, so you will always have a back-up (even if it isn't the latest).

I have backed - up my game to a USB but I can't seem to copy it back to my PS3 (but I haven't deleted the game saved there). It just copies back to the USB. Anyway, open to suggestions here.
