I don't think you can keep the memory stick in the machine. You need to take it out (with your saved game on it), then delete your game. Put the memory stick back in, and a USB symbol comes up. Select copy, and it copies the file into the appropriate folder.

I think that this is a problem PD need to look into. It should be like a PC - you tell the computer where to save the file, or from where to copy it.

I'd copy the folder onto you memory stick, then save it on your PC. Do this back-up regularly, and the most you could lose is any data since the last back-up.

As to my needs, anything you've got spare. I'm still going through the Beginners races, so anything you have that will compete in the Amateur races would be great.

as mentioned above, I'm starting from ground zero. So if you have a modded car that you used to win a specific race, and you don't want it anymore, I'd love to have it.

What championship?

If you need help on the classic muscle champs I have a spare car for it if you want that.
 
From memory, I recall doing an American Classic or Muscle Car challange in the Amateur races - it's the one with the long straights. I can't open the Amateur races yet, because my ranking isn't high enough.

Arn't the amatuer events the second ones up. If you haven't unlocked them yet then you still need to do the american muscle classic champs, and thats the one I have a spare car for that you can have if you want it.

I have not removed the memory stick at all. Been backing up/duping constantly with no issues.

You need another specific car? Do you need a GTR 09 for the Seasonal races?

Can't remeber exactly what car I used for this, might have been an old Jaguar, it's fully tuned and it smoked everyone. I've got 20 more laps to go on an endurance race, as soon as it's done I'll send it to ya. What else do you need?

I backed up my save file today, thanks to your warning on here. My ID is Brit999, but I am in UK I am not sure if my cars will work for you.

However if you need anything I have 15 Mil and over 200 hundred cars now. Hit me up, I will send what you need.
 
Lost my gamesave today,trying to copy to usb stick, pressed wrong button, and gone...Never try to do stuff like this whilst playing with your kids......

Edit:Managed to find an old save on my sd card...PHEW

Same thing happened to me except it had over 250 cars, Aspec=25 & Bspec=20, and almost 2 million credits... all gone now. so sad...
 
anyone want a f430 fully tuned up in exchange for a cheap race car???????

A big thank you to all those kind souls who helped me out. I'm nearly back to level 12, and grinding when I can. Onto the Amateur levels now.

Once again, thanks for all your help. At this stage, I don't have enough credits to buy the special cars, but if there is a particular paint chip you want, I will look out for it and send it on.
