I saw a real Samba Bus on the other day!

If you go to Brasil you'll see about 100 of those in a day. Weird, since i'm Brasilian, we don't call them "Samba Buses", just "Kombi".

We call them "Combi" in México And just like in Brazil, they are very common over here

I've seen a few Samba Buses, a guy in my Auto Body class has one, though one car that I first seen in any GT game is the Cappuccino...then I saw one at Cars & Coffee, Irvine!! RHD too!!

One guy even mentioned "Gran Turismo" while looking at it, so I wasn't the only one.

I saw one at a classic car show that had a 911 engine conversion. I've seen plenty of other VW Buses, but I think that was the only 'Samba' that i've seen.

I saw on Top Gear that Jamie Oliver has a VW Bus like that. He tried to make a salad in the back while the Stig drove it around the track.

I see these Samba Buses every day here.

The rarest car I've ever saw here was a Gallardo.

I see a Pink VW Beetle convirtible (OLD) Once a week. Granny (With Red Paint on hair) gets her grandchild from school.


2Days ago i saw a NSX and a S2000.
Ok nothing so special but i tout of GT5 immediatly

A closer look at the traffic lights S2000 next to me and NSX in front of it:

-The NSX was white with black hood and a custom wing (not to big) like mine in the game (exept i kept stock wing on back ). And i saw Bribe Seats And very nice rims (Black / chrome edge) So i tink its at least a little tuned VERY NICE !!!

-And the S2000 was yellow with nice 10Spoke black wheels (tenzoR mach10)And Lowerd. The only things missing to make it my favorite S2000 (the Amuse R1) was a carbon hood and rear wing.

On Green light i turn right and the tuners turn left. No high revs nothing . Goodbye...

There's a Volkswagen Festival held annually near to where I live and there are literally hundreds of Sambas in my town that day.

A mate of mine had a 'Samba bus', well, no, his Dad did. Wasn't long before he slammed it, put an Impreza* engine in the back and redid the interior panels with custom- (read 'home-') made papier maché panels, made from his old Playboy magazines. It also had a set of classic Porsche Fuchs-style alloys.

*It was the 1.8 NA from the automatic Impreza they did, he was worried about the heat from the turbo... Also there's absolutely no need for a 300bhp Bus!

He also had a Shelby 350GT replica at the same time, unfortunately this was before GT5 so I didn't quite make the association back then.

yeah so did I but it turned out it was just a clown that stole my information from SONY.. WTF is wrong with youfanbois? This company should be taken apart and sold for its parts and the CEO in ajil. Yes, JAIL. Storing personal data with no encryption is beyond negligence, it's criminal. Are you all a bunch of 16 year olds on your dad's credit card? don't you realize whats happening here? It may be a year before they suddenly take your identity and steal whateve they want. jeeze... SONY should be put out of biz....

Samba is the nickname of the 23 window version in Europe, much rarer than standard 'Splitties'
